I'm going to the Morgan this Saturday and starting to dread it with reading the reviews here. I paid upfront in the hope to save some cash, but the Morgan due to a fault on their computer actually charged me 3 times! Although this was rectified, what they refunded me was actually less than what I paid (due to a... more

Recently spent the weekend here with my wife for an anniversry. The staff, particulary an american/canadian named Dave, were amazing going above and beyond at every turn and making this little weekend break very special for my wife and I. I live in Dublin and will often stay in hotels with my wife for a break. I will be going... more

Many thanks for your Trip Advisor Review. Your kind comments are greatly appreciated and will certainly be cascaded to the team here at The Morgan. David Schneider has worked for our hotel for over a year now, and I think I can safely say that his level of customer care is rarely found within the hotel industry and I am...

I'm still a bit 50 / 50 with this hotel. For what I wanted (something in Temple Bar close to where my friends live) it was ideal, but there were several bad points which spoilt it especially if it's meant to be a good 4* hotel. Arrived on Friday 13th and was welcomed by a girl at reception. Check in... more

The location is one of the best in town: just few minutes walking distance from the major attractions and shopping streets. However the service and the rooms are not at a luxury design hotel level: design furniture is quite old and not very well maintained, the carpets on the floor are dirty and the towels are old and of a... more

I would advice any Conscience traveler against the Morgan. It's apparent that it was originally very nicely designed, today, however, it's run down and unpleasant. This is apparent as you enter the lifts, carpet corridors and most painfully in the rooms. Our first room had an unpleasant smell of smoking, stained carpet and an air of being overused and rundown.... more

Myself & my partner arrived at the hotel on Saturday 7th November. After staying at the Hilton the previous night and recieving excellent service, we were expecting the same at this hotel, we were looking very forward to staying in our suite aswell. We arrived, and 1 of the hotel staff said we couldnt check in till 3, which is... more

Located in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar on the bustling Fleet Street, the Morgan has a great central location going for it, but it was a deeply disappointing stay. So desperate to be considered a 'boutique' or 'design' hotel, the management have gone to town on a cluttered style-over-substance approach to décor. Full height mirrors are leant against bedroom... more

I have only used the Morgan Hotel for business meetings, clients visits during the last 4-5 years and also to stay over myself if working late in Dublin. The hotel has never let me down. Always accommodating, friendly & efficient staff & management. This coupled with minimalist yet warm decor and well sized bedrooms and choice of meeting rooms makes... more

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October for my girlfriends birthday. Read all the reviews and was a little concerned about what I had read but enjoyed the hotel once we got there. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was good and the location was great, right in the middle of all the action. Would definately stay... more

We carefully review our trips when we are planning a trip. We read articles on blogs about The Morgan. Some blogs warned us for the noise from the street and from the lounge/bar at night. We are used to living in cities and thus to city noise, so we decided to book as the hotel looks nice on pictures and... more
