Budget hotels are just fine, but this place was a fail on almost every level. It has the feel of a low-end hostel, except with hotel prices. We got the room on Hotwire, and given that the advertised rate is over $300 per night, we ignored the poor Trip Advisor rating and went in hopeful. Even at the $120 we... More

I recently stayed for the first time at the Leeson Inn Downtown. My experience was not a good one! Although it is situated in a good location (very central to the nightclubs and St. Stephens Green), the room we stayed in had a shower that did not work - there was absolutely no hot water. We reported this to the... More

I stayed there on a Saturday night. I must say the people working there are absolutely nice and helpful. The room so and so, and not perfectly cleaned... I was on the back side and there is a club which plays loud music until 4 am... additionally my window could not close properly. The guy at the reception came and... More

We were lucky, as the lady on the phone gave us a very cheap deal for a Friday night. The place wasn't as bad as I thought it would be after reading all the reviews here. The girls at reception and in the breakfast area were all very nice, but you could tell no one was really in charge...so when... More

The price was right and the location was excellent so we decided to take a chance - also being seasoned travelers my wife and I have stayed in some pretty dodgy places. Didn't really regret staying there but would seek out other alternatives if we ever are in Dublin again... bring ear plugs!

We stayed here for one night and it was terrible! The room was on the 3rd floor 304, it was so small we couldn't open the toilet for properly. It was very tired and in need of decorating, the radiator in the toilet was rusted and peeling from what I presume was splashed urine. It was so hot in there... More

Stayed for one night . Room was on the upper floor. The room was clean but extremely hot and the sash window only opened a short bit so difficult to sleep as it was a hot evening. Found the staff very abrupt and unfriendly on arrival and not much better on departure. The hotel is quite close to the centre.... More

We booked to stay here for one night, and then read the reviews and were seriously concerned, however it was pretty good. The plus points: Newly refurbished Nice decor Very comfortable bed Very clean Clean very good bathroom Proper black-out curtains (rare in standard hotels), particularly on bright sunny summer mornings Tea & Coffee in the room Nice new fluffly...
