Great hotel in a very central location. The carvery lunch is excellent. I come here every Friday will my mother for lunch. The staff and food are magnificent. Sadly Barbara the waitress is retiring today. She will be sorely missed. We have got to know her well over the last few years and consider her a real friend. I wish... More

Anna was our waitress and she was fantastic: friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was scrumptious although we couldn't get a desert because we were full. Went into the bar which was really busy but Ash remembered me from past visits. A wonderful place!

Great Interior, cosy Victorian boutique style. Friendly helpful staff. Nice toiletries. Couple of stains on the throw at the end of the bed. Got charged for three short national calls that didn't go through or even to messaging. Breakfast in bed was very good.

this hotel is about location. the room i stayed in was very small but comfortable and to be honest had everything i needed but might not be to everyone's liking. This is not a modern hotel but it is cosy and quite frankly it is all about the location. I would certainly stay here again as it is about half... More

I stopped here for drinks after a meeting at Freemasons Hall across the street. The bar area is comfortable and quiet (at 10:00 PM, on a Monday, anyway). We sat in a corner with couches and large chairs. Service was responsive and unobtrusive, and the drinks were reasonably priced.

Great location near Leinster House, Stephens Green and Grafton Street shopping area. Lovely Georgian building warmly decorated for Christmas. Staff and general customer service good. Bar food very good. Room too small and in need of redecoration, very tired looking for the money. Breakfast distinctly average too.

Dear Mancmons, Thank you for taking the time to post your review. It is disappointing to read that your room was not as expected. As an older building and not a purpose built hotel, one of our unique features is that all rooms are different in size. I would hope that should you return, we will ensure you have a... More

Lovely old hotel in the centre of Dublin. Old world charm but not at all tired. Very comfortable with pleasant and courteous staff. A very good breakfast typical of many Irish hotels. We were on a three day break which included breakfast which was very good value for money.

My wife, son and I stayed at Buswells Sunday November 30th. Our stay was exceptional and the staff was first class. I was very impressed to learn several employees have been on staff for 40 years or more. We enjoyed the breakfast selections offered and the staff was busy decorating for the holiday season. Our rooms were comfortable, but more... More

Stayed here last night for the third consecutive year on the same night. We got the smallest hotel room yet (102) which is at the front of the hotel. When we checked into the room and looked out the window there was a Vigil at a doorway where a homeless man passed away the night before. My wife and I... More

Stayed here for a short break. Room was spotless and quiet. Beds and bedding were very comfortable (so much so we slept in!!) staff were very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for big and fancy go somewhere else. But this is gorgeous and comfortable.
