A beautiful, clean, elegant and comfortable hotel, you want it to rain everyday so you can stay in and enjoy the warmth of their comfort; from bar to restaurant, to room service. Though would suggest something a little more exciting or wholesome for vegetarians. never the less, ate all meals there as beautifully cooked with flavour and variety for non... More

Stayed here over the weekend. The air coach drops you very near the hotel and there are lots of nice places to eat nearby when you arrive late on a Friday evening. The position of the hotel is very central. Irish breakfast great, refills of tea and toast plentiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

In terms of location you couldn't do better than Buswell's in Dublin. 5 second walk to Dail/Leinster House (not that you might visit it but nice to have a historical building that close), National Library and National Archaeology Museum 10 seconds, St. Stephen's Green 1 minute, Grafton St/ 2 minutes, Trinity College/Book of Kells 4 minutes. You get the idea,... More

We stay in Buswell's from time to time, and always enjoy it immensely. The rooms and bathrooms are quite small, but very comfortable - quaint would express it well. The hotel is always charming and very comfortable in the public areas. It is opposite the Dail so there are often intense discussions going on in the bar areas, with small... More

You have not fully lived if you have not enjoyed the warmth of the fireplaces in the Busswell "living room" areas on a damp November evening. Busswells in not a sleek, modern, high style hotel with 50 star amenities and accommodations. It is a distinctive experience of friendliness, a bit of frumpiness in decor, some sizable/some small rooms - Overall... More

We booked Buswell's after reading all TA reviews. It was perfect for our stay in Dublin. We arrived at airport at 9AM after overnight flight and took Aircoach to Kildare street a block from Hotel for 8.50E PP . When arrived the very friendly staff said room wasn't available (check -in was 3PM) ,but would try to get it ready... More
