The Buswell Hotel is perfectly situated in the city centre and is only a short walk away from most of Dublin's main visitor attractions; Trinity College, Book of Kells, Trinity Library, Grafton Street, and nearby restaurant, cafe and shopping precincts. Buswell's Hotel is charming with an 'ole world,' lobby with plenty of comfortable seating around a welcoming open fireplace, (lit... More

We stayed at the Buswell on our first visit to Dublin. The location , right in the heart of the city , is great as it is within walking distance of all the sites , restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel is traditional , no fuss or frills - but then no unpleasant surprises at all. The staff are most... More

Buswells is a fantastic hotel. I spent two nights here at the end of my week in Dublin and it was my favorite hotel of the entire stay. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and they went above and beyond every time I asked them for something. The location can't be beat. It's just around the corner from St.Stephen's... More

My wife and I stayed there for a long week-end in Dublin. The location is great, very central for the city attractions. The hotel offers old-style traditional service which in today's world is sometimes hard to find. but is greatly appreciated. We had a room that was spacious, comfortable and quiet, we didn't hear a thing, apart from the odd... More

We spent our last night at Buswells after our 2 week trip around Ireland. The lobby is gorgeous, the front desk efficient and very helpful. We missed the breakfast because of an early flight, but they set up a very substantial Continental breakfast for our party of 8 to enjoy. The location was very convenient. We would definitely stay there... More

Excellent location. good food and friendly staff. An interesting boutique conversion of older terraced houses. Good rooms, but beware there are a few very small rooms. But the staff were willing to change one of our group out of her small room.

We stayed at Buswells before and after our Ireland tour. I is in a great location. Easy to get to all the Dublin Tourist Spots. The bus from the airport drops you right in front of the hotel. Both visits we were in spacious, comfortable triple rooms. The staff at the hotel were helpful and gracious. Food at the hotel... More

We spent 14 days in Ireland and stayed at several hotels throughout the country. Buswell's offered the most gracious service of all. When we arrived with jet lag from the Dublin airport, our room was not yet ready but the front desk staff did all they could to make us feel comfortable, including bringing us tea service. The bell captain... More

We stayed three nights while visiting Dublin. We were interested primarily in being near Dublin City Centre attractions such as Trinity College, Temple Bar, Grafton Street, and the various museums and parks. All of this was within 5-10 minutes walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is one of the oldest Georgian hotels, but the rooms were well appointed considering... More

A friend and I enjoyed a nice lunch in a quiet setting at the Buswell hotel. The carvery buffet-type lunch was delicious. I had soup and brown bread and my friend selected haddock, carrots, broccoli and potato. A variety of other foods were offered that looked delicious. Our lunch was delightful; the staff were friendly and efficient. I will visit... More
