Cannot comment on the rooms in this hotel as we only dropped in for morning coffee. Comfortable seating area, fresh, warm scones, delicious coffee. Staff were welcoming & efficient. Great location close to the railway station, the Zoo & the courts.

It's a fine hotel charging reasonable price. The noise is a bit too much at night when people are talking and laughing outside. I wish there are more electrical outlets in the room. The location is good because it is right outside the Phoenix park (Dublin Zoo) and accessible by multiple transportation.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to Dublin. The hotel was in a great location on the edge of Phoenix Park. You could jump on a tram from Heuston Station which would drop you in the centre of Dublin in minutes or walk along the river. The hotel was clean and the breakfast, €9 for a... More

The Phoenix Park Hotel was very nice, we were in Ireland for 2 weeks and stayed in 4 different hotels and this was the nicest. But, it's a long walk back to the city centre. Nice and close to the park and zoo though. They have a nice little cafe and a small, hardly used bar that we enjoyed in... More

The location was very good for me. I needed to catch a train from Heuston station the next day so the location was very good for that. The green bus from the airport stops at Heuston and there is also a tram stop too so was very easy to get into the centre of the city by public transport. Free... More

We stayed here in June 2015 and would definitely stay here again! As the room cost us 59€/night, it obviously was not a luxurious hotel, but the service and room we got were perfectly adequate - or actually really good considering the price in downtown Dublin. We came in several hours before the check-in time and the lovely, friendly Irish... More

We stayed here for 10 days in July 2015. We quite enjoyed it. The prices were very good, especially compared to other hotels in town. It's a 2 minute walk to Heuston Station and another major bus stop making it a very easy option for getting around the city. Staff were really good. Liam, the manager, is really great. Restaurant... As a first time visitor to Dublin I found this hotel was a great choice for us. Having read some of the Reviews on here prior to our trip I was a little concerned that we were not going to enjoy our visit, but I shouldn't have worried at all. I found the Hotel to be clean and comfortable, the... More
