This best thing about this hotel was the pub down the road. The room I stayed in was apparently refurbished but I strongly doubt that, it definitely needed refurbishments. The bed I was in had concaved in the middle and had a big rip in the duvet cover. Neither of the twin beds were changed for the duration of our... More

The location of the hotel is decent. It's very close to the Heusten station and a short walk to the Guinness store. However this hotel needs major renovations / upgrades. We stayed in room 5 with two twin beds. I slept on the floor because the bed was completely concave and had no springs in the mattress. The cable TV... More

This hotel was lovely! The receptionist was awesome and so very helpful. He gave us a map of Dublin and showed us how to get around! The room was lovely! The hotel is located right next to Phoenix Park in Dublin and we were able to walk to Dublin Zoo! The staff was so friendly, be warned that check in... More

Depending upon the reason for your visit . . , the Phoenix Park Hotel should be considered. Whilst it is a little far out to the East of the Centre . . , it is well served by the tram (literally 3 mins walk) and is right next to Heuston Station so is easily serviced by the Airlink 747 bus... More

After arriving to book-in on 25 March 2015 we were informed that there was a double booking and instead of two(2) rooms we were told they could only give us one(1) room with four(4) beds. The very impolite receptionist try to blame an error because the booking were made the night before. My Brother had booked two rooms with Booking.com... More

My husband and I stayed here one night and honestly I was a bit apprenhsive as its a 3* hotel and the reviews are mixed. However, it ticked the boxes for us and provided everything you'd expect from a 3*. The room was small but clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't have breakfast there as it wasn't... Dear Maggieiem777, Thank you for leaving us a review, unfortunately it isn't as good as we would have hoped. I can assure you, your room was not "given away" we are continuing our refurbishment and as such some room layout change. I do apologise if a previous guest was smoking in the room, it is virtually impossible to police this... More

I stayed here the night before I flew out on holidays. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk from Heuston Station and is a great alternative place to stay instead of going out and staying by the airport. First off it is cheaper than the airport hotels and it is in a much quieter location. The airport shuttle bus... More

Staff is OK. Rooma are basic; good for business travellers. Service is good. I liked the breakfast; tasty omelette, strong coffee. Location is great, 5-minute walk to the main station. Wi-fi is free but weak - dead at the upper level.

Delightful and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Room had TV, + soaps and shampoo. But... not enough plugs in room, no proper heating ( electric heater provided), no hot water before 7a.m., chair broken in room, cracked bathroom sink. It was cheap, and cheap for a reason. On balance though, I would stay there again, just not recommend it to my... More
