We stayed and its budget: outdated paintings and weird locks on the hotel room doors and there Is an odd smell in entrance hall but it's not unpleasant but it was clean friendly no mould or smells in the room, fresh crisp sheets, kettle tea coffee biscuits in the room and the breakfast was delicious and is cooked in front... I stayed four nights at this hotel. Situated central in Dublin with Walking distance to Everything in the city. It is absolutley not a luxury hotel, but it is nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a single room at the top of the building. No elevator so if you have problems with stairs this... More

Stayed here for two nights whilst in Dublin with a friend. The room was a twin room with view onto the River Liffey, however there are 6 flights of stairs or has my friend said 58 steps to the room so not suitable if you have trouble climbing or breathing. The room was clean and comfortable but if you wanted... More

Staying at the Inn on the Liffey ruined my Dublin experience. You can do better! Pluses: Staff fairly accommodating overall: allowed for an early arrival, stored some of my food overnight and my luggage upon arriving early on a second occasion (isn't this standard though?) Good location, central to Dublin Minuses: Rooms super small, stuffy, and quite old Long walk... More

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Dublin. Found the all staff very friendly and helpful, in fact the young French gentleman at check in offered assistance with my suitcase. There was a good choice of things for breakfast and the Irish Fry didn't disappoint. The room was small - it had a twin bed, side table, tv stand with... More

We arrived early at 9:00 am but unfortunately our room wasn't ready till 3:00, but we got to leave our luggage as we walked around Dublin. There is no elevator, so carrying luggage can be a challenge. The room was small but very clean, as was the bathroom. The shower is really small hardly room to turn around, but again... More

When we first walked into the building there was a strong bad smell. There is no elevator so we had to climb six flights of steps to the top (third) floor. The room was a tiny attic room but very charming with a view of the Liffey. The bathroom was old but clean. There was hardly room to turn around... More

The Inn on the Liffey is a budget hotel. Rooms are small but very clean and the water is hot. The place seemed very sterile, there was no warmth and the guys at reception were indifferent. There is no lift, but they do have free tea and coffee in the rooms. Breakfast was very good and included in the price.... More

I stayed at this guesthouse for a night on St Patricks day. The location is great, just outside of temple bar. The breakfast included was wonderful. The room had everything we needed and we had a great nights sleep. Best of all, the staff were great and were available for anything you needed. Very nice people and great hotel. Would... More
