Pro´s: - good price - excellent location - friendly personnel Con´s: - the cleannes of the hotel is questionable - the photogallery on the website is probably from some other place (I have no other explanation) - the MEZZ bar really offers everyday live music - too bad when you are on the first floor, even our pillows were vibrating... Small and cozy hotel in excellent localization. Hotel in heart of main touristic area in Dublin. Everywhere is close. To all pubs just few steps , to main tram line - you just past the bridge (250 meters) to Dublin castle maby 200 meters etc.... Many people wrote that it's noisy place , hmm if you close a window is... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and, for the money, have no real complaints about the place. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful (we actually left something behind and they posted it on to us). The plumbing in the room above us was making a hell of a noise the night we arrived, we told the lady... More

This was the worst hotel experience in my whole life! It was a really bad smell when we got to the hotell, so i got astma. the room was not clean AT ALL. We couldn't open the windows. after staying there for one night, both me and my friend started itching and got red dots on our bodies. (allergy, bed... More

I would go back to this hotel in the centre of Dublin. I spent two days in this hotel in August 2014. The place is old and can be noisy because it's in the main nightlife area, but it's economic and well located.

We stayed at the river house for short weekend break, the hotel is perfectly central but that is the only think perfect about it, the reception area looks tidy and clean, and at a first glimpse does not prepare you for what the rest of the hotel has in store, we was able to lock our luggage in a cupboard... Checking in to this place a)you are warned that there is NO room which is quiet between 11pm and 3am and b)yes, there is a busy nightclub directly below. What I wasn't prepared for was the shabbiness and hostel-esque set-up. Make no mistake: this is not a "hotel" which is "in need of a lick of paint" or could be... More

Checking in the lady at the desk already apologized that she does not have a different room. Ours was directly above a live music bar and facing the street where people were drinking, yelling etc. So if you like to party and sleep during the day, perfect location. If not, you might want to choose a different hotel. What was... More

Lovely basic hotel, good size room and bathroom all very clean and staff only too pleased to help at any time of day. Easy to find from the airport using the local bus. Very central location near bars, markets and the castle.
