Breakfast ok. Impossible to sleep until after 2:30 am, no chance of an early night. Relatively clean, not worth the price. Never recommend. Nothing works, hair dryer didn't work. Staff at reception weren't too welcoming. Lacked in customer service. Minus 1 is a complement.

Absolutely *rediculous* noise levels coming from the hotel bar in the first floor rooms. Live music blasts till 2am. (Aparently daily.) If your planning on getting some sleep before that don't bother with this place.

If you want to be in the heart of Dublin and on the temple bar and not pay a kings ransom then the riverhouse is fantastic. However great location and cheap price come at a cost. The hotel is old and rooms could well do with a make over. Also if you are a light sleeper the noise could be... More

What a dump this place is, we stayed in the apartments at the back of this hotel. The apartment was horrible mildew on the walls, dirty carpets, windows with holes in them and no tv or kettle and at €130 per night what a joke ! We have stayed in plenty of nice hotels in Dublin before for around the... More

For no reason should you ever consider staying on the first floor of this hotel, as the music from the bar below will kill you if you try to sleep. Music is mega loud and only stops after 2.00 am. The hotel decor is dated and ugly and unless you are desperate, I suggest you go somewhere else. To be... More

I am an Ordinary person and easy to please and at 42euro for my nights stay it was just right for me as I had a hospital visit to get to early and I mean early. I arrived and got a lovely friendly greeting not from one but two, the receptionist and the porter, who grabbed my bag and took... More

Clean is ok . No elevator is available to get the room and if you are settled on third floor is a nightmare. The bed is too short if you are tall more than 1,9 m and bathroom is with no spare place to your staff. The lock door is easy to open and all the people can get in... More

Price and location are brilliant. Decent welcome and friendly staff. The shower was the most powerful I've ever experienced (it was like a jet wash). The cleanliness really let the place down. Black mould on the grout between the tiles (doesn't take much effort to clean). However we were treated to a nice free pint of Guinness for residents of... More

We were booked to stay in a hostel however when we arrived it was uninhabitable, we popped into the River House and the lady on reception dealt brilliantly with four tired, very upset girls who just wanted to sleep! Rooms are not anything special and there was a small issue with the water but suited our needs and the staff... More
