This was a great location and we were close to everything, it was all walking distance. There's always something to do and the staff were pretty friendly and helpful. The hostel featured cool stuff to do like bar crawl and free walking tours which was nice. Only complaint I have is that it was a little noisy considering the location... More

For what it was, it was a good hostel. The location is great, it's right in the middle of temple bar, so there's no more than a 5-15 minute walk to some of the best pubs I've ever been to, as well as the main city centre. Our room was a bit small for 6 people, but we coped fine.... More

Really loved this hostel, the staff were super friendly, the free breakfast was unexpected but so welcome and the hostel could not be more perfectly located for exploring Dublin, in particular the Temple Bar area. I was aware it might be a bit noisy but decided two nights wouldn't matter, we were given a private double room facing on to... More

We loved our stay at Barnacles Temple Bar! It allowed us to have a private room but still be in the Temple Bar area at an affordable price! I'd suggest this hostel to anyone!! We'll definitely we back!

Great location, very nice staff. A cute and comfy place with private bathrooms in each room. Beds were as expected for a hostel. Windows have a mini balcony type of railing that you can look into the street. Communal kitchen is a nice thing to have too. I would recommend it to others.

Barnacles was an excellently located hostel right in Temple Bar, Dublin. The hostel was undergoing significant rennovations at the time and my sleep quality was very poor due to the early morning construction. The rooms are quite small and it was hard to get ready to go out with only one mirror in the room and all beds (8) taken.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in March 2015 for St Patricks day. Comfortable beds, great showers, PowerPoints at the beds. The staff were all very friendly. Only downside was that the rooms were really cold during the day. I think they just turn the heating on at night. Probably makes sense from a business perspective. Only reason I can't... More

Can't speak highly enough about Barnacles TB. Came for the weekend prior to St. Patrick's Day and so the Temple Bar area was absolutely heaving. We didn't really mind staying in the middle of a tourist trap (Temple Bar) so for us the location couldn't have been better. Also considering that the hostel is right next to *the* Temple Bar,... The price for the hostel is very good and also the rooms were quite clean, but rather small. The hostel is located directly in the Party district of Dublin next to the Temple Bar Pub. I can recommand it.

If you want both to party and know the city, this is the place to stay. Amazing location and it has everything you can need. The staff are all really nice. I stayed there for 5 nights in march and if I go backto ireland i´ll definetly stay there again.
