Went here for the PSU vs UCF football game and the week leading up was amazing. Great location, clean rooms, good price, and awesome staff really made the trip memorable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great time in an amazing part of the city.

This hostel is great for two things: location and staff. I stayed in a 4 bed private room with bathroom, and it was pretty small, but decent and clean. Because of the excellent location, noise at nights is kind of unavoidable, so if you're a light sleeper it would be a good idea to bring earplugs. The staff was super... More

Get location. Clean and bright facility. Pleasant staff. Pleasant roomies. Rooms were small but I was there to go out and see. Great for the price. I didn't get to see breakfast, because I left too early. But free coffee was available at that time. You get bed linens, The bed was already made. Note: you rent the towels for... More

We stayed three nights and it was great. The location was perfect - noisy at night time but that was to be expected as it is situated right in Temple Bar (nightlife area). We had a double room with private bathroom. It was clean and had all the basic necessities. Breakfast was free (toast and cereal) - pretty basic. Staff... More

I would like to say that the staff is super friendly and helpful, which is important. The hostel is located in the middle of Temple bar, so you basically just have to step outside the door to get to a bar, various restaurants etc... The rooms are ok, stayed in a 10man bedroom, a bit to tiny, but its just... More

I had one night in Dublin and chose to stay at Barnacles because I stayed there once several years ago and was familiar with the area. The location is great-just steps away from countless shops, bars, cafes, public transit, the Airlink Express bus stop, and the Liffey River. The staff are also very nice and helpful. The lounge space is... More

Very nice and friendly staff, who went out of their way to help you. small rooms which got a bit stuffy and central location. Lots of shops and bar within 100 meters. Stayed on two separate occasions completely different breakfasts one just toast and coffee machine not working. The other day toast cereal fruit and coffee

I stayed in Barnacles Hostel Temple Bar many times over the last two years and all I can say is it just gets better each time I visit! I would not stay in any other hostel in Dublin (and believe me I've been in quite a few over the years). Apart from it being exceedingly cheap, this Hostel is situated... More

This hostel is located just in the center of famous Temple bar district! Should I tell you more? It is really cool to do pub crawl when you are living just next door to the all bars and pubs -- you don't need to worry about anything! Just drink and enjoy the unforgettable atmosphere of Temple Bar
