We stayed here our first night in Dublin. Be prepared to pay for parking at this hotel. We stayed 1 night and enjoyed our stay. There were only a few restaurants within walking distance from this hotel There was a grocery store and we did grab some food for breakfast.

Stayed here back in May 14. I got a good deal so myself and girlfriend stayed here while we went to a concert in the O2 arena. The food was excellent and the pints were tastey but the overall building could do with a touch up of decor and paint. All in all it served us quite well.

Stayed overnight coming back from Rome, it happened to be All Ireland final day. The hotel had sold car parking to first come which left no parking for residents. When I brought this to their attention I was told parking was not guaranteed as stated on their website!! There is no such statement on the website! When the match was... More

I stayed here in May while travelling with family. The hotel was nicely furnished and in a great location for our couple nights in Dublin. I had booked it for several reasons. We had an early flight leaving Dublin and also wanted somewhere close to the airport upon arriving. After travelling for almost 24 hours and having to hop in... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for ten days and thought it was fine. Clean rooms and a restaurant down stairs. Try and get a room far away from the school because of the loud kids. Safe area and easy to reach city center. Pub across the street and cafes down the road.

chose this as it's a BW and 'close' to airport = 15 minute taxi ride varies from 12 to 20 E depending on time of day and driver's route. indifferent front desk gal but the guys working were pleasant. our room was on the 2nd floor next to the elevator but after testing for any elevator noise there was no... Stayed here for the weekend. Had to wait an hour for room to be ready even though we were checking in at appointed time. Decided to order afternoon tea to get the weekend started and while we had to wait. The menu said that the afternoon tea consists of sandwiches, scones, pastries, tea brack and slices of cake. It arrived with... More

Our party of three adults stayed for two nights, and it was not a great experience. Building works going on next door, with that being the view from one of the rooms, together with the garbage area. Rooms were very tired, they need a good clean and updating. The bathroom extractor fan would not turn off and was really loud.... More

The Skylon is in the perfect location for visiting Dublin. The bus stop right outside the hotel has very regular buses, all of which go to Dublin city. The decor throughout the hotel excellent. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Reception staff in particular were really friendly and helpful.
