While this hotel looks unattractive from the outside, it's actually a bright comfortable clean and spacious facility . There is a very nice bar area and the food was nice and keenly priced . Our room was very large with every little extra ( Good T.V., iron & board, nice bathroom, tea & coffee, etc ) . The lobby area... More

Spent two nights here. Hotel is in a good location, near the centre and on good bus routes for town. Staff were friendly and parking was fine. Room also very nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent each morning. Ample continental choices and if you plump for the cooked breakfast is served vey quickly by great staff. The scrambled eggs in... More

I stayed here for one night before travelling back from Dublin the following morning. Whilst clean with quite large rooms the hotel seemed to be a place that people used prior to an early flight the next day. Staff were not very helpful and facilities were a little basic, food choice was basic, though they did a quite good steak.... More

I took my mother across for a 3 night stay in September, and I don't think I could have booked a better hotel. It was a short taxi ride from the airport, and far enough out of the city not to be bothered with noisy revellers. The staff at the Skylon were excellent from the moment we arrived, until we... More

I stayed here for four nights before a tour and found the hotel to be sufficient for my needs. The rooms can be quite warm as they don't have aircon or fans but they were always very clean. If you want to be closer to the action in the city then I would choose a different hotel as it's about... More
