Me and my partner stayed for 2 nights and found the location to be ideal, couldn't fault the location as was in easy walking distance of the main strip (o'connell street) and 10 minutes from temple bar area, 15 mins from graft on street. The room was very basic but clean even though the decor and carpets were dated, the... More

Although frequent visitors to Dublin, this was our first stay at the Dublin City Inn. We usually stay at The Arlington O'Connell Bridge which we really like, but on this occasion that hotel was too expensive (we didn't realise until we arrived in Dublin that this was infact Irish bank holiday weekend and this was the reason the hotels were... We stayed here for one night in March. Hotel is basic but is in a good central location. There was only the 2 of us but we had been given a large family room which can sleep 4. Large bathroom, & plenty of space in the actual room, as we had an early flight the next morning we left before... More

I stayed in 3 different places during a recent trip to Dublin and of the 3 this was the most basic. Small rooms that make it hard to walk round the bed and no place to really open and store your luggage. Bathroom had a drain smell the whole time but that seemed common in all 3 places I stayed.... We stayed here over St Patrick's weekend, when, obviously the place was busy. The rooms, were really not good at all.... Felt like a very very cheap/smutty B&B. Tiny room, tiny shower room, and our window did not close properly so we had three very bad nights sleep due to noise from the street. However, the breakfasts were fab -... More

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, but I'm sure it wont be the last. This time I had breakfast, which was lovely with plenty to choose from. The staff are as friendly and helpful as ever, possibly one of the most helpful staff I have encountered. Location is great, and rooms are basic but are... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 Nights last September and found the hotel very accommodating and adequate for our stay, The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a good breakfast each morning. The hotel is in a great location just off O'Connell street and only a short walk to various places of interest. We have just booked... More

The hotel is really well located, only a short walk from the river, main streets and temple bar. This also means taxis are reasonable. They also have a deal with taxis to the airport so ask, reasonable prices too. The staff were really nice and friendly, also very helpful and new good local places and knowledge although none had an Irish... More

I stayed for two nights with my mother and we were really pleased with this low-cost, no frills inn. The room was clean and had all the basics (hairdryer, tea facilities, hangers, safe, soap) and the staff were really friendly and helpful allowing us to leave our bags with them before our room was ready and after we'd checked out.... Second time staying here and it has not let me down. Hotels location is excellent. We had a very clean and spacious room with a double bed and two single beds. Staff are very nice to deal with. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.
