My boyfriend and I escaped here for an overnight while visiting family in Scotland. We arrived at 10am (well before checkin) but they got us in our room right away. It was small, but pretty standard for Europe and the bathroom was bigger than I thought it would be. It was clean and the water was hot and the bed... More

I arrived at about 12 pm. Guess what? No fuss given about coming earlier and a room was promptly given. The room is quiet, clean and simply but adequately furnished. Not Shangri-la but definitely comfortable. It is literally 3 minutes walk from O' Connell street, the main shopping district, and am 5 minutes walk from the nearest DART station. The... More

My partner and I travel to Dublin 3 or 4 times a year and we always stay in the Dublin City Inn. It's clean, good value for money, the staff are friendly and in a great location. Would recommend to anyone I know looking to stay in Dublin for around £50 a night. More

Stayed 29 -31 December 2011. The hotel was basic but very clean and ideally located for all the main shopping areas, airport and tourism transport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Worth buying the sight seeing ticket for the Hop on Hop off bus, (10 Euros) for two days. Two pubs situated very close to the Hotel and worth... More

Just picked this place at a last minute, it certainly wasent the ritz but for the location and price we couldn't complain. Very good location, just 2 minute walk from the spire, rooms bit on the small side but not uncomfortable, staff friendly and reception manned 24 hrs. For a few days city break, this is perfect!! We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in December 2011. As others have said, the rooms are very small. But they are clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a good location in Dublin and within walking distance to many sights. The breakfast was a bit overpriced,... More

The location of this hotel is great, 5 minutes walk from anything you need (supermakets, pubs, shops whatever), and it is 2 minutes away from the Abbey Theatre and O'Connell street (where you can get the bus to the airport).
