Five days in Dublin city, we were staying at Dublin City Inn, the Hotel was rated at 3.5 stars. On arrival the room was in good shape but worn and my first thought was this could only be 3 stars. However the following days I realized I had to reevaluate because of a very good service. Every days the room... More

Arrived this hotel and went to the room. I had asked for a non smoking room but the room I was given had an ashtray in and absolutely stank of smoke. By this time I was too tired after travelling so didn't complain to the staff at the desk (so my own fault really as if I had mentioned it... More

We certainly would have allocated you a non smoking room and of course we would have moved you to a non smoking room. I do apologise... More

We stayed in a Double room for more than 14 nights on business trip from late November 2013 till mid Decemeber 2013. We just took Airport coach from Dublin International airport to city centre, and got off at the City main street, O' Connell street. We then walked for 5 minutes to the hotel, and a close-by landmark is the... More

Stayed in the Dublin city inn for my 21st with 5 other friends. The Dublin city inn was excellent, couldn't of asked for better. Great central location, I stayed in a family room which was very spacious, clean and tidy. The breakfast was brilliant. Our stay was very reasonably priced, the cheapest I found. The hotel manager Patrick was fantastic,... More

I almost don't want to tell anyone how great this hotel is because I always want to be able to book here if I'm in Dublin. This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was so great, so friendly, so helpful. I never met a staff member who was anything other than exemplary. The room was great. Just spacious enough, good... More

This hotel is central, clean, tidy and affordable. We were on the first floor and there was no noise from the street below. The room was tiny but it has everything you need, the shower was particularly good! Breakfast was fine, good value and generally cheaper than those places offering breakfast elsewhere. My only gripe was that the built in... More

Very much a budget hotel, not many thrills included (no shampoo in the shower!), BUT reasonably priced, comfy, quiet, and with a very hard to beat location. If you just plan on crashing at your hotel and don't want much from it, you'd do well to stay here.
