2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The hotel was extremely worn and in desperate need of renovation. It's a decent value and walkable to many tourist attractions, but I wouldn't stay here if you're looking for a "nice place." If we go back to Dublin, we'll probably be skipping the Clarion IFSC...

Myself and my partner stayed here as we were going to a gig in the O2 and found it to be the best location. We have stayed here before under the old name the clarion. The rooms were lovely and although there was still building work going on we couldn't have been happier. We decided to drop back into the... More

Stayed here for a night's break in the city and was very impressed! Rooms are great and very comfortable. Ultra relaxing bar and stayed there for most of our night where we were looked after by Kim and Sonia. Two of the friendliest staff around! Definitely coming back

This is the only hotel I would consider in Dublin, have stayed here on loads of occasions. The staff, Shane, Rob, Kim and Anne are fantastic. It's actually called The Spencer now and is being refitted, am looking forward to coming back when the work is all finished.

Hotel is now called the spencer. Our room was excellent, bed was comfy. There was a lovely coffee machine in the bedroom and kettle with tea bags etc. loads of toiletries in the bathroom. We gad breakfast in the hotel which had a great pancake making machine, as well as all the usual delights! We also used the bar, the... More

I enjoyed my stay, as the hotel, is in between the business park (free shuttle to the office) as well a feasible walking distance into town. the direct environment offers a few bars / pubs as well restaurants. The hotel (renamed to The Spencer) offers modern interior with new carpet and proper mattresses. I was missing a fridge in the... More

I arrived in Dublin just prior to St. Patrick's Day and took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. What should have been a 1 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel turned into a 30 minute wandering adventure. Unknowingly, I passed the hotel twice, asked directions of helpful strangers, etc. Finally, I walked into the Hotel... More

Stayed here last week and payed £504 for 3 nights with no breakfast!!! It took us half an hour to find the hotel as 2 days before our stay the hotel changed its name, removed all Clarion signs, closed down its wed sites and did not think to inform us!! A simple email would of done the trick!!! We even walked in... More

Just had a girlie week-end at the Clarion Hotel, reception was very welcoming, staff very friendly, rooms very comfortable and clean, hotel bar was reasonably priced seeing most of the bars in Dublin had put up their prices for St Patrick's week-end which was a total rip off!!!, We all enjoyed the breakfast a huge choice. We also used the... More
