Well positioned Hotel walking distance to many tourist favourites (Trinity College, Landsdown Road, Baggot Street and all its great bars etc). Its a old hotel with a strong Georgian feel to it. Rooms are comfortable and staff very friendly. Very large bar and good pint of Guinnes (was very quiet the night I visited - Sunday after a big Rugby... More

I'm at a total loss to understand some of the negative views posted here about the Mont Clare. I became extremely concerned when I read them after I'd already booked, but I absolutely needn't have worried. The location is excellent - 50 metres from the Aircoach drop-off and less than 10 minutes walk to Grafton St, Trinity College etc. The... More

His statue is in Merrion Square diagonally across the street. Very nice location, a couple of blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Grafton Street. Yet, less then a five minute walk to Trinity College and The National Museum. Rooms were clean and had a great view of the Georgian houses and the perfectly maintained gardens in Merrion Square.... Stayed here the day after Valentines, there was a party going on in the hotel the same night and there was a lot of very disturbing nosies coming from after parties in some rooms which had to be directly across from mine in the Lady Lavery Suite. Although I dont actually blame the hotel for that as what do you... More

Arrived very early and was glad to be assigned a room. When I entered the room the sun was bursting through the dusty windows. I looked at the radiators and there was a thick layer of dust. I went down to reception and reported it. I said I needed another room and would return later. I returned in the dark... More
