The hotel is lovely and only a short walk to Grafton Street and Temple Bar. The hotel has an older, more European feel straight with radiator wall heaters and everything. But the bathrooms have been newly remodeled and every room has digital TV. The beds are super cozy too. The breakfast in the morning is pretty good. The front desk... More

This is a reasonable hotel for the price. Very friendly reception staff (Nikola was particularly helpful). Check in very efficient, the whole hotel is fairly dated, including the rooms, but for the price all very clean and perfectly acceptable. Would recommend and return. More

I have just returned from six nights at the O'Callaghan Mont Clare and would recommend it with no hesitation. I chose it primarily based on location and price (having shopped around on the internet and manage to snare it for under £50 a night) as it is just around the corner from Trinity College, and was pleasantly surprised with a... We stayed as a couple for a total of 5 nights. Our first 4 nights were spent in room 426. It was at the back of the building away from the street and very quiet. Our last night in Dublin we stayed in room 410 which faces the street. It was a Sunday night so we thought it would be... More

We stayed here as two couples for two nights. On arrival we were greeted by attentive staff who checked us in and offered advice with no fuss at all. The rooms were quite dark, but were very clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. We requested extra pillows and a bath mat and these were delivered... More

Location of hotel is great. Located in Georgian Dublin, the architecture in the surrounding areas is fantastic. The hotel is only steps from National Gallery, National Library, National History Museum, Trinity College etc. It is a 5 minute walk to St Stephen's Green and the shopper's heaven of Grafton Street. Many great restaurants nearby, on both Merrion Row/Baggot Street and... More

We arrived in Dublin around 7:30 in the morning and popped in at the hotel to leave our luggage and the staff was so accommodating. They told us they would clean our suite as soon as it was vacant and call us to let us know. Our suite - The Oscar Wilde was lovely. It was huge which was great... More

The room was small, dark and poky and everything seemed quite a bit outdated. But the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring Dublin. For the price, it was worth it, but I'd recommend spending a little extra for a nicer hotel. More
