Arrived very early and we were greeted with friendly reception, a beautiful room that was fortunately ready and a most helpful staff. Full breakfast gAve us energy for the day after limited sleep. Clean, well appointed and very comfy beds! I would highly recommend as it is a good location, a bit away from the craziness. Beautiful park view.

It is rare that you come across a hotel with servers so keen to ensure a young girl got home well and safe but here at the mont clare you couldn't be safer. My school held their debs here and I watched as a friend of mine fell ill and watched as the wonderful staff ensured her safety. Names that... More

My mum and I stayed here for 1 night. I have to stay the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is slightly dated but is very clean, comfy and cosy. It is within walking distance to Grafton Street and there are bus stops close to the hotel to take you to other parts of the city. I would... More

I stayed here for two nights in July. I was a little disappointed given the price I paid and the good reviews that it had received here. There was nothing particularly wrong but I felt that the service and standard in the hotel did not warrant the price. When I arrived there was no one at reception. It was maybe... More

This was our first visit to Ireland so we used Trip Advisor to help select our hotel for a four night break. We chose the Mont Clare as it had great reviews and was centrally located. As we had an early morning flight we arrived at the hotel at 0900 hrs. Obviously our room wasn't available but the very helpful... More

We decided to book 2 rooms at Mount Clare because it is centrally located. The fare wad good considering that it was high season. We enjoyed our stay there, though a couple of things to highlight about our rooms. The floor and the curtains needed to be washed properly because of the dust. We are allergic to dust so we didn't... stayed in the Mont Clare recently and must say that the staff were all fantastic..I had a small issue with the bathroom when I arrived and the reception staff saw to it ASAP. I had just finished a 6 day tour of Ireland and came to the Mont Clare because that was the hotel I was staying at next. There had been a mistake and my reservation was for the next day. The staff found me a room at neighboring hotel with very little hassle.

We stayed here as part of a package through British Airways Holidays. The hotel has a quaint, old-world charm and a lift (elevator) that had a character all of its own. It is about a 5 minute walk to Trinity College, about 10 mins to Grafton Street and about 15-20 mins from Temple Bar or St Stephen' Green. We got... More
