Hi - stayed in this hotel last weekend as we were going to the Bruce Springsteen concert in the RDS. Location-wise - good hotel. The room was tiny - I mean tiny. But clean. No room service breakfast. Buffet breakfast available and the other reviewers are right it was expensive. We grabbed something to eat in the bar when we... more

We are staying presently at the Mont Clare. The location for us is good (and you've seen that from other reviews). Our room is large; bed is a comfortable king. Room and hotel are both showing a lot of wear and tear, though. Drawers either stick of fall out; pillows limp; shower curtain mildew; water pressure in shower and sink... more

Stayed end of June for a couple of nights. Hotel and the area was quiet which is how we like it but also within easy reach of centre of Dublin by either foot or bus. The green Dublin 'hop-on/hop-off' bus was just over the road. Only minor negative was cost of breakfast. I would recommend the Alamo opposite Temple Bar... more

This is a nice clean hotel in a fantastic location in central Dublin. Right on Merrion Square, the hotel is within 5 mins walk of Grafton Street, Baggott Street and Trinity College, 10 minutes walk to St Stephen's Green, Temple Bar, O'Connell Street or the RDS. Pearse Street DART and Train station is just two minutes walk away. There are... more

Nice clean hotel. Booked a twin room, quite compact. Comfortable beds. Room was on the front of the hotel, but no disturbance from the street below. Good double glazing and air con was fine. Unfortunately the safe in the room didn't work, did report it but don't think any effort was made to rectify. Also the plug in the bathroom... more

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights online at their website back in March 09 for our stay in Dublin on the 24th & 25th of May. By using the 50% saver deal, and paying for the 1st night in advance we got both rooms for 2 nights for 320 Euro, which was a great price. The breakfast buffet was... more

We recently spent 4 days at the Mont Clare. The rooms are small but very comfortable - there was plenty of space to unpack, includes TV/computer and in-room safe. The location is perfect: AirCoach, Hop On Hop Off Bus and numerous city buses stop within a block. The staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and patient with our many questions!... more

My girlfriend and me have recently spent 3 nights at this hotel and there are different reasons why we can consider ourselves satisfied. POSITION: Hotel position alone is definitely worth a mention, being just a short walk from Trinity College and Grafton Street. Dublin city center is not very big either, so that pretty much all of the other monuments... more

Great location on Merrion Square. Within walking distance to most of the important areas of Dublin. Free parking a couple of blocks away, although it was a little tricky finding it, and it's an unmanned lot - secure, but a few steps to get in and out. But once you park, you can walk (or take a bus) to everything... more
