Overall we had a very good stay at O'Callaghans. We arrived quite late on Friday evening and check in was efficient and we were soon up in our rooms. The hotel is traditional rather than modern and the rooms are in that style as well. We were on the top floor (5th) so had a reasonable view out over the... More

This is a clean and comfortable traditional hotel which is in an excellent location within walking distance of main shopping street, Grafton Street, theatres, restaurants etc. and just more or less opposite the lovely Merrion Square park. The breakfast was excellent.

We arrived early prior to check in time. The hotel was very accomodating and held our bags for us so we could get a bite to eat. We returned and were able to check in a couple of hours early. All staff very friendly and helpful (especially Danielle). Hotel is in a good location with short walks to shopping and... More

This hotel exceeded expectations. Arrived in Dublin around 9am, telephoned hotel to ask if we could leave our luggage. Marie the receptionist was very helpful giving us directions to the hotel from where we were. We arrived at the hotel mid morning and was greeted by Marie who was extremely helpful and friendly and informed us that our room was... More

On face value this looks like a nice place but it need some proper attention. I don’t normally post pictures but was very tempted to, my room had a missing light shade, the TV was screwed to the wall so it couldn’t be angled towards the bed to view it, the picture was grainy at best, a hole in the... Our stay here was the last night of our adventure. (March 17-25, 2015) It was wonderful! The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful that you would have thought they were my personal friends! They were very quick to help in any way that they could! (Even recommended a pizza delivery for dinner and placed our order for us!... More

The location is great right on the corner opposite Merrion Square surrounded by Georgian houses we even had a view of the park and the Oscar Wilde Statue and his former home opposite the hotel to greet us every day, it's less than a five minute walk to Trinity College and... We came here with a group of friends (50+ people) of an age range of 60-80. The rooms were spacious with flat screen TV and tea making kettle & cups. The room was very clean, carpets were immaculate, bed linens were crisp and nice. We ate in the pub twice and the food was excellent. We also had a group... More

I stay with O'Callaghan Hotels not alone because our company have a corporate relationship with the Group but because they are centrally located, convenient, efficient, friendly and good value. Staff are always willing to engage. Rooms are very comfortable and bright and as a single occupancy business traveler I no longer suffer the old 'box' room treatment and get the... More
