Really nice hotel in walking distance to the city centre. Old victorian style house with a beatiful clean room. Very warm welcome when I arrived and really friendly staff. The breakfast was also very nice - eggs, sausages, fresh coffee. Definitely a good place to stay in Dublin

I visited with a large family contingent, there was six adults and two children. The decor of the house is nice but it is not suited to having young children staying. The room was perfectly ok but when we went for breakfast we discovered that they didn't have a child-seat. It seemed incredibly odd to me that all the fuss... More

This was our first stop in Ireland, and we just wanted a quiet place to lay our heads after our long trip from the states, Butlers town house was just this. We had a room on the street and I was afraid we would hear the traffic but we were pleasantly surprised. It was a little diffucult to find, we... More

Given how highly rated this hotel was, I expected more. The first room they put me in was out of range of wireless, and quite run down. When they moved me downstairs, I saw that the second room was run down too -- perhaps the big For Sale sign in the parking lot indicated that they didn't see the point... More

My main worry was the parking that was available. Parking is very squashy and limited and it's possible that you could be boxed in although the staff assured me it would be ok and they were right. But it did cause me concern. Being on a busy corner also made driving in and out a little difficult. The room was... More

I will never forget the service provided at this small hotel. I was walking to the dining room to grab a cup of coffee to enjoy on the peaceful outdoor terrace when Mary suggested that I go on outside and they would bring coffee to me. As a self-sufficient New Englander, being waited on was unusual to say the least... More

Some confusion over our booking but sorted out with good grace and with out problem, well done for that. Butlers Town House is in a great location right by a Dart station (rail) with a two or three stop ride in to the centre. It's also a peaceful location full of large Victorian town houses where you can get into... More

We LOVED everything about this wonderful place in Dublin. Megan and Marie at reception were utter perfection! They helped with everything from parking the car to where to eat! They were genuinely excited about our vacation and all that we had seen. The room was simply adorable! The bathroom was great with amazing water pressure. The location was convenient to... More

On our last night in Dublin and leaving the next day for home, this hotel couldn't have been better. Since we didn't take a taxi, I knew that we would have a walk from Trinity College to Pearce DART station(2nd stop) so it takes some doing but it's worth it. Cecilia sat down with us over tea and coffee and... More

This manor home was the perfect spot for our stay in Dublin. While a bit of a walk from the city center, the surrounding area was nice with some great restaurants nearby. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful.
