It is an older hotel, but kept in good order, beautiful hand carved medallion ceilings; large rooms, with separate sitting/tv area from bedroom; it was warm without AC but none of the hotels or B&B's we've stayed in on this trip have had A/C. Breakfast was pleasant, not all homemade. The staff were wonderful, polite, and very helpful. The only... More

Friendly staff, parking in rear for small cars, love the train and bell, rooms with style, and food very good. Restaurant "1900 Bar & Grill" good & just a few buildings down. Not for light sleepers as the music and drums start around 11:00 pm.

First may I say you can not fault the location of this hotel,it is bang on city centre at st stephens green. If your looking a weekend away like hitting the bars and clubs this hotel would suit you. However if you want a relaxing W/End and a chance to sleep go else were. We STAYED ONE NIGHT AND TRUST ME IT... More

First off, some of the staff was very helpful and nice (others not so much). The place is old and rickety, which is fine and actually has some character as the rooms are sort of all over the place. Problems are that the rooms were very hot (3 that I know of), so we had to keep windows open and... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and our room was beautiful but we were on the ground floor and was awoken a few times by cars being moved about in the small car park adjacent to the room. The location is perfect and the linked restaurant was lovely. The breakfast was good with a varied selection. But due... More

We will not stay at Harrington Hall until the noise problem is resolved. It is not acceptable to hear people singing, talking loud and carrying on up to 4:30am. Some nights the noise did not start until 10:30pm just the time when I'm trying to fall asleep. Come on !!! We paid serious money for a good night's sleep. If... More

This is a beautiful old house and is very kept well but we checked in at 3.30, went into our room and it was up in a heap.Back down to reception, and we had to wait 20 mins of the room to be cleaned. We were served cold coffee while we waited. The rooms are very hot alright as a previous reviewer... Perfect central location just off St Stephens green. Lovely little hotel, with free parking, which is a real plus in a city where parking costs an arm and a leg. Room was beautiful and huge, actually more of a suite. Clean, comfortable and affordable. Couldn't ask for any more

Things I liked: Good location. Very nice breakfast selection and quality, good value if booked in advance. Things I disliked: Room was way too hot and stuffy. Asked for a fan but none were available at the time so we had to sleep in much discomfort for the first night. Having been travelling since 5am, it was unpleasant to find... More

Stay here with my sister for a theatre trip to Dublin recently. Hotel was ideally located for Gaiety Theatre that night and shopping on Grafton Street the next day, both only a short walk away, no need for taxis. Also very near St Stephen Green Park, we have lovely weather that week so we sat and soaked up the sun... More
