It was the first hotel on our honeymoon during our initial stay at Dublin. It is a historic building transformed into a hotel. The hotel is centrally located with almost all the major attractions of the city i.e. Temple Bar, O'Connell bridge/street, St. Stephen's Green, Merrion Square, Christ Church Cathedral, G.B. Shaw's place of birth, Oscar Wilde's house etc, at... More

For sixteen days our trip to Ireland was magical. The last two special nights were spent at Harrington Hall in Dublin in one of the front rooms. The noise from the nightclubs that spilled onto the streets from midnight until 5:30 AM was horrific and nonstop both nights. There was even a fight that broke out across the street on... More

OK, so it's not the Ritz. What it is is a nice hotel in a great location for a reasonable price. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is pleasant. True, it can be noisy at night in the front of the hotel, particularly on the weekend, but in our experience it was not rowdy and we slept... More

We stayed three nights in this hotel. The location is perfect to get almost anywhere. It really was quite lovely, except the noise at night. We faced the street, so unless you can fall asleep prior to midnite, you will hear the clubs across the street that go until 3 or 4. We were in rooms 14 and 15. Not... More

We liked our location to St. Stephen's Square, good restaurants and shopping. Very good breakfasts and our room was comfortable. Two points to consider-the car park is very small, and night life down the street can be noisy in late evening. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay again-but not have car!

Though this is a lovely hotel in a great location - minutes from St. Stephen's Green, I would only stay here again if I were given a room facing the back of the hotel. We stayed in Room 11 and were very pleased when we first got to the room. We then found out there was no air conditioning in... More

Stayed here on Business for 3 nights. A lovely hotel with great rooms - it was a bit noisey at nights - but it was in the middle of the world cup! Breakfast was great and service at the hotel was to notch. Beds were very comfy - leading to a great nights sleep. The room wasn't cluttered with furniture.... More

Everything was as described, the rooms were clean, quiet, and the staff was welcoming and accommodating. Parking was available, a huge plus in Dublin. Located near St Stephen's Green, it could not be in a better location for Trinity, shopping or Temple Bar. Only drawback the nightlife across the street. (That drawback clearly does not apply to those out clubbing).

Stayed at Harrington Hotel 1 night - 1 night too long. Should have listened to previous reviews. The hotel is directly across the street from one of the most popular discos in Dublin and they go until 4 AM after which taxis, line up and the noise continues until well past 5 AM! When booking we requested a rear room... More

Harrington Hall is such a lovely hotel, with one of the best bathrooms I've seen for a hotel in its price range. BUT the noise from nearby clubs basically makes sleeping impossible, so if you're in Dublin to party until the wee hours I recommend it. If you plan on sleeping at night steer clear. Such a shame,
