This is a great hotel located right down the street from the city center. It is about a nice 5 minute walk to all the shops, markets & restaurants. The location has a great view if you are staying in any rooms facing the street. I traveled with a group of friends for the Dublin Marathon. We had four people... more

This hotel is in a very convenient location The rooms are fair and a bit outdated. There are also numerous late night clubs on the street so noise at night can be an issue. more

The hotel is located on Harcourt Street which is just south of St Stephens Green - close to Grafton Street. The location is great - it is easy walking distance (in my unfit opinion) to Trinity College and Temple Bar. Breakfast was not included in our package but we did have breakfast one morning. At €10 for a full Irish... more

Really great location-close to all the sights, and good restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly...strange though, when i asked for change from a 5, they had to go to a store to get it for me?? The other reviews mentioned the noise, but really no problem-slept quite well, the only noise was at about 4 a.m., when the... more

Recently stayed here for two nights with family while in Dublin. I have to say our experience was great. The staff was friendly and helpful ,and yes mostly non Irish as we found were many service people in Ireland, our room was great and comfortable. The hotel is small, comforftable and what we saw was nicely all nicely restored. For... more

This was our first hotel/B&B of the trip. Location was key as was getting a good night's sleep. The location was great (we walked to the Book of Kells, Guinness, etc.), the room was clean (albeit very hot), not too expensive...however the nighclub about 3 doors down that was raving until 3:30am on a Wednesday evening was a bit frustrating.... more

Can't really add a lot to what other people have said - we had the same contradictory experiences. All I can do is sum up with: if you are at the back of the hotel it is great as you cant hear the nightclub; if you are at the front of the hotel then you don't get any sleep (any... more

My dear wife and I wondered as we prepared several months before for our May 2009 Ireland adventure how Trip Advisor reviews for Dublin’s Harrington Hall Hotel could be so contradictory. Several reviews were glowing. Several were almost caustic. We decided the negative reviews must be a reflection of the reviewers’ personalities. Surely, we told ourselves, a hotel cannot be... more

We booked this hotel via the internet and it looked like a lovely Georgian home. Our room was on the third floor (with elevator access) and it was so small that we barely had room to open 2 suitcases. The bed was a double and since my husband was tall, he had to watch his head when getting up to... more

Got a cheap deal online a few days before our visit to dublin,€79 for three of us! Our room (no.11) was absolutely stunning. Huge room, so much space! Three huge windows overlooking Harcourt Street, lovely and bright. An upstairs double bed also! And even a huge bathroom to go with it. Lovely hotel all round... just happens to be without... more
