Dorm rooms are hot, stuffy, and cramped. There is little room in the rooms to relax or sit other than in your own bunk. Not a good place to stay of you're trying to meet new people and engage in friendly conversation--people of all ages were interested in keeping to themselves.

I think "average" describes it pretty well. We arrived pretty late, which was no problem. The hostel is close to the city center and can be found easily, as there are many other hostels nearby. We had a private double room. One of the beds had a pretty used but extremely soft mattress while the other one was quite hard.... More

We liked the free breakfast, wifi and atmosphere in the hostel. The crew is friendly. The helped us to arrange a cheap airport pickup. The room is very basic and small with all the beds in it. The bathroom is not very clean, but every thing worked.

I stayed in Abraham House for 4 nights. I had never been in a hostel before and I just loved it. The place itself is a little old and I didn't like to pay for the lockers but the breakfast is really good for the price (2 types of bread, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, milk, coffee, tee, 2 types o... I have stayed here 3 times now (1 night each time). They have recently done up the place and put new signs out front. Its within 5 minutes walking from the Spire/ O'Connell street and very close to the bus station (Busaras) and the trail station. Staff are very friendly and helpful and explain how the hostel works upon arrival.... More

I stayed here for two nights with 7 other girls. We were on the top floor and the heat was almost unbearable, it was 18c outside. We had bunk beds which we had to make ourselves (not the actual beds, but the linen) and an en-suite which was convenient and it was not as dirty as other reviewers have made... More

Was there for a conference in february. I arrived late evening. The place is clean and cosy. Room was good; i was supposed to have a single room but they gave me a family room so there was a lot of free space. Breakfast was very disappointed: just toast, butter, jam, milk and cereals some boiled eggs and nescafé coffé... More

My husband and two of our friends stayed in a four person room with private bathroom for one night. It was so disgusting we never took our shoes off and slept on the towels we had brought with us. The linen was never unfolded and no one dared take a shower in the dirt encrusted bathroom. The room smelled of... More
