We stayed last weekend (5 to 7 june) in an 8 people room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our bath and room were very clean. Nice breakfast for a hostel. Awesome location, it’s close to the city centre and Temple Bar and also to bus and train stations (which is very useful for people like us who on Monday... more

Was travelling on my own to Dublin for one night and booked a single room on Hostelworld at Abraham House. Very easy to reach from the airport (save yourself some money and take the 41 bus instead of the Airlink, only takes 10 minutes more). Arrived at 4 p.m. to be told my room was already taken (on the word... more

One of the boys in the reception was nice but there was an [--] woman that was so rude that we couldnt believe the situation. The room was dirty, We arrived there and had to make our beds, but they only gave us the bottom sheet so we didnt know if the top was clean or had been used before.... more

We made a reservation to stay at this hostel, paid our deposit and then waited to go. In the mean time, we were reading some reviews on the hostel and we kept getting totally horrified by what we were reading which I am sure you will be too if you read earlier reviews. Anyway, we decided to cancel the hostel... more

Overall the hostel was good but security is terrible i was rudely awoken one night to a random drunk wandering into my room and trying to get into bed with my friend. most of the staff were nice but the couple on recepion (dec and trisha) were very rude and could get angry if you had a problem. more

This was my first time in a hostel and although I did not expect much, I was utterly disappointed. Some of the staff were rude and completely disinterested ... although some were very helpful. We had alot of trouble booking in. The room was shabby and dirty, with chewing gum stuck on ends of beds, broken blinds, no windows that... more

Our group of students stayed in this hostel for five days. Our room was tiny and dirty. The trash can of the toilet was full of used tampons and the whole room smelled disgusting. We also found rotten apples from the corner of the room... The others' rooms were also as dirty as ours but at least not that small.... more

This hostel was not the worst I stayed at on my backpacking trip to Ireland. But it definetly has room for improvement. The biggest turn off for me was when I was walking up the stairs to my room and saw the toilet. It was overflowing with toilet paper, and the floor was not visible under all of the newspapers... more

This was my first experience staying in a hostel, and it was better than I expected. We had a triple room with our own bathroom. The shower was kind of small, but otherwise the bathroom was quite roomy and clean. We had a set of bunk-beds and a single bed, although the single bed seemed more like a full-sized bed.... more

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Abraham House. We were a group of 22 lads on a stag do, and we had two 10-bed dorms and one 4-bed room. The accomodation is what you expect from a hostel - bunk beds, less than glamorous bathroom facilities, basic breakfast etc - but as long as that is what... more
