A very helpful and obliging staff who went out of their way to make the stay very pleasant and with a minimum of glitches. Very clean and tidy rooms. An excellent baggage storage arrangement. This can be a busy hostel so the staff have limited time to get to know you. Although this was my first experience with a hostel... More

I got this place for a steal when I was in Ireland in April of 2010. I think I got it for like 8 euros a night in a 10 bed dorm. The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. It's on the same row as a lot of other hostels and is pretty close to the river... More

I've stayed in a lot of hostels and this one was very basic and dull. Its cheap and you get a bed for the night which is all you need when you're staying in a hostel so can't really complain but there is no personality to the place. The staff are friendly and if you are just looking for somewhere... More

Abraham House was my first Hostel experience, and my first solo traveling experience. I was a little nervous, but as soon as i stepped through the door all of that went away. The staff are all very friendly, and extremely helpful. I felt at home the entire stay (14 days), and i am actually staying for nearly a month come... More

I had chosen Abraham House becauce it was close to both bus and railway stations and not too far from the centre, either. Compared with the prices of single rooms with its own bathroom elsewhere, it wasn't too expensive. Of course the rooms were very basic as well as the basement where breakfast was served - it was a hostel... More

As far as beds go...I've had better from hostels in the past. They weren't terribly comfortable and the lights didn't get turned off until 1:30am. The beds felt a bit crammed and just weren't that great. But for 10 euros a night, you get what you pay for.The dorm was almost impossible to find following the signs. You go through... More

I stayed here with my three girlfriends (all students) just a few days ago and found it a perfectly decent hostel. The staff were friendly and chatty, towel hire cheap, the room spacious and the beds comfortable. The location was excellent, the Wi-Fi was fast, the breakfast was absolutely fine, though - being English - the teabags left something to... More

Myself and a girlfriend stayed here in September. We slept in an all-female room with over 12 beds (if I remember correctly). I think Abraham House is a typical hostel - it was crowded, loud, and people were in and out of the room all night. We shared a bathroom with all the other women in the room - so... More

The first thing I met when I arrived in Dublin was the Irish hospitality. I was sitting next to a lady in the airplane from Milan, before landing she turned to me and asked me my buisness in Dublin. I told her I was traveling alone, and was going to stay in a hostel. She kindly asked If I wanted... More
