Both room and en suite bath spacious and clean. After several hostel stays this seemed like luxury to me. For the price the value is excellent. The location was great, off Grafton so convenient for sights, but not loud. The staff was friendly and helpful and patient. The breakfast was great, they had me with "variety of cheeses." Already hoping... More

Only stayed there cos it was close to where i had to be. On arrival i was made to stand at the reception for at least 10 mins while both of the receptionists finished chatting to one of the other customers. Room was like in a basement and the lights in the room was very very poor. Radiator in my... More

Quirky, charming, and a terrific location just off St Stephen's Green. Walked all of Dublin from there. The rooms were lovely and large - full of gorgeous period detail - but with a very modern bathroom. My son had a room facing the street (and the trams) - but had no concerns about noise. Breakfast was quite basic, but fully... More

We had an opportunity to stay one night only in Albany House during our dublin break, but would recommend it to all of our friends. Very centrally located but still quiet away from the hustle of Grafton street. Very friendly reception staff, young lady was very helpful and allowed us to leave our bags until the evening at the reception.... More

Great location, although ask for a room at the back if you want sleep every night as couple of night clubs on same road. Friendly staff and very good value for money.

I am originally from Dublin and would recommend this location as being very handy for easy stress free access to the city centre. I only stayed one night but found the place to be very clean and the building has lots of historic character. Didn't have breakfast there as I had to rush for a train. I was definitely happy... More

Stayed here on Fri 9th March 2012. Was horrified at outside..really dull and unkempt. Entrance lobby was lacking in furnishings, so bare, it was scarry!. Carpets stained. Bedroom very big and basic. Mattress needs replacing, sagging and very soft. Carpet in bedroom stained. Not worth €60 each and breakfast was just cereals, tea and toast. Tea pot for 2 people... More

If you are looking for a super clean (and I mean spotless), friendly, central, affordable hotel with character, look no further. My room was perfect. It had charm, was well decorated, was spotless clean and was warm. Big bed. The bathroom was new, the bath big. There was a good range of TV channels and tea and coffee making facilities,... More

Just come back from a 2 night stay at this hotel. Nice hotel, very clean with nice comfy rooms. We requested 2 pillows each and the next day the beds had been made up with the additional pillows. The breakfasts are excellent. In a continental style with freshly baked rolls, pastries, fresh fruit salad, jams etc. The home made brown... More

We stayed for one night on February 6th 2012 on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed! Albany House is just off Stephen's Green, within a couple of minutes walk to the Grafton Street area and very close to the National Concert Hall. The new Luas tram runs outside the door. Our accommodation was superb. The room was... More
