Literally one of the worst places I've ever slept. Staff are competely uninterested. The hotel is old, but dirty and dusty too. Room was on the top floor with no lift and no help with bags. Beds were overused and very kuch in need of replacement. Room was small and musty with a big crack behind the radiator. Window didn't... More

The Charles Stewart scraped a "poor" status instead of terrible because of a) the room and bathroom were clean and serviced well b) breakfast staff very friendly and efficient. My friend and I had had a long day and arrived around 8pm at the CS - we were told our room was 6 doors up the road, initially we thought... More

I had a great stay in this hotel. Friendly and cosy atmosphere. The rooms are very cosy and clean. The breakfast was tasty and fast. The only drawback would be the room way to warm could open the window as was beside the car park and wasn't happy with the openness of the baggage storage.

Great location close in center of Dublin where you can walk. I prepaid the hotel so we did not wait at all when we checked in. We stayed a their 2nd location which is 4 doors down. Our room was nice and clean with full bathroom (shower, toilet). Free Wifi and luggage storage was available too. I would stay her... More

Decent location - handy for bus from / to Airport and at top of O'Connell Street so handy for start of bus tours and walking to Grafton Street / Temple Bar areas. Nice building from outside but rooms in real need of updating both in decoration and furniture. Couldn't understand why in a building of this type we could almost... More

The location is perfect for getting around Dublin by foot or local transport. Busses stop at front door. The 16 bus takes you to the airport. The rooms are adequate but outdated. This is a very old building with no elevator, so be prepared for lots of stairs. The breakfast was pretty standard and served in an over-crowed noisy basement... More

What a horrible room I was in a single room an it was horrible. I have been to many old 3rd world country's but this is the worst room I have been in. You could not fit in the bathroom, and I am not big by any means, none of the staff were Irish, and the safe box did not... More

I stayed here for four nights with my grandson. I booked the room through booking.com; but that is just a guarantee of paying more than you should. The regular rated is 72 euros a night; but the booking.com rate was 80 euros. I had booked the first three nights way in advance. To get the final night (on the way... More

This was our second visit in 7 months and we were not disappointed. The value for money is second to none - its not fancy but it is much better value than some hotels we've stayed in that have been more expensive. If you have one of the refurbished rooms, there is plenty of space, decent bed, clean room, tv,... More

The location of the The Charles Stewart Guesthouse was perfect. It was located at the top of O’Connell Street within walking distance of Trinity College and Temple Bar where you can find a lot of restaurants and shops. The Twin room we booked was very clean and the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was the smallest bathroom I’ve ever... More
