After reading the reviews, I was a bit leary of the Charles Stewart. So I requested a quiet room and told them I didn't mind clmbing stairs. My room was perfectly quiet (Room #307), clean and even had a teapot with accoutrements! And the location is absolutely fabulous -- everything is close by -- the airport bus, the Dart, the... more

The rooms were clean, location execellent. Dont expect too much, it is just a place to sleep. The only 2 irish staff were really nice and friendly. We paid our deposit with American Express, when we arrived the manageress wouldnt take the remainder off the card as they dont take it. It was not mentioned when room was booked. The... more

The location is excellent, just 10 minutes stroll from the river and 15 into the heart of Temple Bar. Its right on the main bus route from the Airport with a stop just outside the door. Also the city tour bus stops right on the door step too. The reception is 24 hour with helpful staff. The hot and cold... more

I have just come back from staying in the Charles Stewart. When we arrived it looked nice and clean and the staff were friendly until I went and asked about the building work going on, which was outside our room, I asked how long it was going on for because we had been up since 4am and wanted a couple... more

Ok I'll be frank that this place is a little run down, But it's right in town! It's definitly not the Ritz, yet it's not totally the pitts. It's pretty old inside, like you want to wear flip flops I'll confide! I know that's not really nice, I'm sure they don't have mice. From the airport the public bus will... more

Loved our stay in the Charles Stewart, very central location, great price and very nice staff. Place was clean and the room was very good for the money - a lot better than budget London B&B that's for sure! The only down side is that the walls are very thin so you can hear everything in the next room which... more

This place is great if you are visiting Dublin for the sight seeing/ going out purposes and aren't planning to spend lots of time in the hotel! We had two single beds placed pretty much back to back along one wall, little desk, wardrobe and a very cosy bathroom! There is definitely no room for lots of moving round in... more

While a little worn, I thought it was a great deal for 1 person and the room had all essentials. The front desk staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety. I never needed to eat lunch. I had a room at the back so it was very quiet. I thought the location was perfect. Hop on... more
