We stayed at this hotel as we were up for the France soccer match. Firstly the good points. It is in a great location and that is where the good points end. We checked in at reception and were told there was a late bar for guest and breakfast time etc. Later that night we returned to the bar where... more

Staffs were friendly. The room was generally clean. However, I believe, for a hotel to be comfortable, not only the room must be clean, staffs being friendly, most importantly is you have a quiet rest at night. Unfortunately, this hotel was unable to provide a quiet rest at night. The hotel is poorly located. It has a club in the... more

location of this hotel was grand. near temple bar etc. the one thing i'd have to say of this hotel and other similar hotels I've stayed in in ireland(I'm Irish and I live in Ireland) is the attitude of staff and the lack of the great Irish hospitality that Ireland was once renowned for. While the receptionist was quite friendly... more

If you are interested in the Dublin nightlife, this location is ideal. It is outside Temple Bar so you can't hear it but you're just around the corner from it. It was the most inexpensive hotel I could find in the area and we were happy. We thought it was superb to get to all the great sights in the... more

Our room was large, clean enough and comfortable but in need of a bit of a makeover, especially the bathroom which was a bit grim. All the staff were pleasant , friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, everything freshly cooked to order. The bar is very noisy at the weekend but OK during the week. A real plus is... more

The George Fredric Handel Hotel is ideally located for the holiday or business traveller who wants to enjoy the cultural attractions and nightlife of Dublin without the crowds or noise of a Temple Bar lodging. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. We asked for, and received, ample help in arranging city and Irish Rail tours, and we were given... more

Rooms were spacious. Reception staff were friendly and always helpful. They changed our room configeration last minute with no price increase. We got the rooms at great offer price and were very happy with the location. Within walking distance to sights, buses and restaurants. Would definitely go back. more
