Low cost student hostel. Very clean. Adequate continental breakfast. In a very loud area, pubs open till 2am. Friendly staff. Parking discount just round the corner. Easy walking distance to Trinity College (Book of Kells) and National Museum Treasure Gallery, Kildate St

The hostel is clean, with great accommodations, a comfortable bed, and well located (a great night-life), although the hostel is over a bar, so if you have trouble sleeping in a loud place isn't the right hostel for you. They have a nice breakfast and a small kitchen so you can prepare your own food.

Had one of the three penthouse apt. 2 bedroom 2 bath. Full kitchen, dining room, living room and outdoor terrace. If you are traveling with 4 people this is perfect it cost almost the same as the hostel beds and is much more comfortable. Bed was comfy and everything was clean. Only thing you could complain about is a minor... More

Just got back from a 2 night stay at Gogartys Hostel for a girls weekend away. This was the first time I had ever stayed in a hostel so I wasn't really sure what to expect. We stayed in an 8 bed room and there conveniently were 8 in our party. I found the room to be clean and the... More

Stayed here on our last night in dublin before our flight and I think that's about as long as I'd need. The location is right over a major bar in the Temple Bar region, which is great...but remember, you're over a loud bar. The bed was comfortable enough, but I'll tell you, you can do better. There's nothing great about... More

I have to admitted, I was afraid to be in a Hostel so far away from home, but at Oliver St John Gogarty, was really easy. Everything clean, safe, and the personnel nice and helpful. Good breakfast. I was with other 10 people on the room and it was completely safe. I spent the first three days in Dublin relaxing,... More

This is the second time I have stayed in the rooftop apartments at Oliver St John Gogarty's and simply love it. Great location and the price was fantastic. The staff is extremely helpful and I had no issues whats so ever. Definitely worth the money!!! Thanks for a great time in Ireland!

So I've never stayed in a hostel before. I'm not afraid to admit, I like hotels when I'm away. However we knew Dublin is expensive so we were on a budget. Booked this for a 30th birthday weekend away with the girls. 6 girls all together in one room. I cannot fault this lovely place to stay. Location is spot... More

I'd gladly recommend this hostel to anyone who's travelling single, doesn't plan on going to bed early, doesn't mind a very basic breakfast (or has it somewhere else anyway as I always do). It's right in the middle of Dublin nightlife, which isn't a bother if your bedtime happens to be around 3 am. Clean at all times, piping hot... More

In a street behind the pub well known in Temple Bar, this hostel is a good place to spend a night or 2 in Dublin city center, and to enjoy the pleasures of night. Mixt dortorys, small bedrooms but ensuite. Barely cleaned, but functionnal, really noisy beacause of the proximity with pubs. The system of clothing the door is a... More
