The apartments were on the top floor giving a wonderful view of dublin we had a patio area that we could sit and have a few drinks before we went... More

This was an extremely disappointing hostel, especially for the price. I went with a group of friends and all of us do a substantial amount of international traveling (I am personally in a different country- and several different hostels- each month), and we all agreed that this hostel is well below par. Here are the reasons: 1) There is only... More

In a perfect location and decent value, reception is chilled didn't pay until final day. Rooms are pretty clean, just what you'd expect. Cool bar and smoking area. Met some good people over the weekend 5/5

I have stayed in the Hostel a few times over the years, twice with family and once for my stag party, but it has always been in the apartments on the roof. This time we stayed in the hostel rooms, and as i have stayed in theses types of rooms before, i roughly knew what i was going to experience.... More

The Gogarty's Hostel is in the middle of Temple Bar, the region where the most popular pubs are located, right above a very popular pub/restaurant. But too loud, with bad shower and no only 2 plugs for a bedroom with 12 beds, what was definitivery bad.

Fantastic location, super value for money and great atmosphere. Notably Ronan on reception was helpful and welcoming - and is even posting a gift bag that I managed to leave behind! He could not have been more help. Great service. Could not find fault with this accomodation. Only been back 24 hours and already planning my next trip! If you... More

Stayed here with 4 friends for two night. Right in the heart of Dublin. Easy access to every point in the city. We walked everywhere, except when it was raining. Nice bar attached to the hostel. The free breakfast is more than I expected. Overall a goo stay. Recommend it if staying in Dublin for a few days and want... More

Stayed in one of the apartments that are located on the roof with my two sisters and cousin. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. It was perfect for the four of us, great location and the price was t too bad for staying there for a whole week

I was here 2 nights, the room was right next to the pub so music coming in the window clear as a bell. I wasn't here to party so wanted an early-ish night both nights, which was simply not possible. But, I fell asleep eventually only to be woken up by a guest taking a loud phone call at about... More
