We had a group of 6 and we stayed in the Penthouse Apartments. The apartments are definitely more worn in than they look in the pictures, but they are fine. The only real issue I had was with a mold smell in one of the bathrooms, I had to keep the door shut or the smell was a bit overpowering.... More

I booked a penthouse at Gogarty's for two days. Overall the apartment was ok, although it needs a few minor adjustments. Positive: - great location in Temple Bar/Trinity College area - free welcome drink voucher + a free dvd of traditional Irish music upon arrival - very clean bed linen! - spacious rooms - Tesco store round the corner -... Clean, friendly, perfect location, and low prices! Convenient to grocery store, bars, restaurants, Trinity College, river lify, and many more. We loved hearing the music from the streets. We... More

Location is perfect, staff is ok, good smoking area semi-covered,free breakfast was ok. Comfy beds but room 8 has only one place to charge phones for 12 people, kind of messy. Wifi is very slow. Its not too clean in general and bathroom definetly not clean. Hot water is really not hot, maybe in july is fine, in january not... More

I stayed here with friends shortly after Christmas 2014 and was incredibly satisfied with my stay, lovely warm welcoming staff, excellent showering facilities, a lovely traditional bar and a nice comfy bed. Also the hostel was only a stones throw from Temple Bar and city centre. Would definitely come back again next time I'm in Dublin and also recommend to... More

It's in the heart of the temple bar and all the attractions is within walking distance. Breakfast is limited so I suggest heading out for a traditional Irish breakfast nearby. The beds, rooms and bathroom was very basic but clean and I'm not staying in my room for long anyways.

If you want to do a real pub crawl all over Temple Bar, you must start here at Oliver St. John Gogarty. Irish music at the pub downstairs, great beer and awesome energy. Then you can crawl up to bed and not worry about a thing. Great!

Having travelled to Dublin before, we knew we wanted to be in Temple Bar and the location of the Oliver St John Gogarty didn't disappoint. We booked the penthouse apartments and they were clean, comfortable and functional nothing more and nothing less. We would stay here again if we were travelling to Dublin although the costs of drinks in Temple... More
