Stayed here recently as I was familiar with it's location and bar underneath and was very impressed. Check in was very quick. Didn't look like there were too many rooms available. Room itself was spotlessly clean. There were two beds, a double and a single. Had a tv and views out onto Dame Street so it was noisy but that's... More

FOR Nice friendly, helpful staff. Location very good, easy walking distance to many interesting city locations. AGAINST: Bar was very busy each night, and very, very, noisy. Décor and lighting needs upgrading and some serious investment. Breakfast choice a bit limited, no cereal choices, no fresh rolls, no buffet choice.

My son and I booked this hotel for 3 nights to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. We were so warmly greeted by the lovely Therese who couldn't do enough from recommending wonderful restaurants and guiding us to the shopping areas. She treated us like old friends as only the Irish can. All the staff are friendly and, although I was... More

I stayed here for just one night, very central and convenient location. Staff very helpful and food good. Downside is the rooms need a little updated, although very clean they have just been patched up rather than refurbished. Rooms at the front of the hotel also quite noisy at night however they do provide ear plugs !!

I read on trip advisor before going and got the tip to ask for a quiet room so on booking I did request a quiet room. Well sorry if that was a quiet room I dread to think what the others were like. 2 in the morning and still the noise from the street kept us awake. The room was... More

The reception staff were very friendly and polite. Our room was at the back (quieter, save for a film crew outside, not the fault of the hotel). Wooden floors meant that whomever was above us made a racket, earplugs and option. Great location with Temple Bar a stroll away. Ideal for romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights 4th-6th January. It was our wedding anniversary so he treated us to a weekend away on our own. After a lot of research on tripadvisor and checking out the hotels website he decided to book here. The receptionist was very friendly and on 1st impression the hotel looked fantastic, until we... Beautiful bar with fabulous food (small menu but all six dishes we tried were excellent, best fish and chips ever). Prices for central Dublin (location excellent for shopping and sight seeing) were average or slightly below average when you factor in the quality of food and surroundings. Regular live music - sublime swing band during our stay. Unfortunately hotel and... More
