If you are looking for a place to stay in Dublin with a large family I would recommend Trinity College. It's located right next to the Temple Bar area and a short walk from wonderful tourist sites and restaurants. The staff is efficient and friendly. Our room was recently remodeled. It was spotless and well laid out. The furniture is... More

The location in the center of Dublin is excellent and the atmosphere is memorable, especially during the hours when there are few tourists (morning and evening) when the park areas are so peaceful. My single room was very adequate with its own bathroom and all the basics plus access to a nearby kitchen area. The price includes an adequate breakfast... More

The location (near Temple Bar and Grafton street), staff at reception and included cold breakfast buffet were very good. The rooms are roomy but basic, no TV, no phone, no AC, and a bit musty smelling. The single beds were very comfortable. For the price we paid 120 Euro for 2 single beds, you can get a better deal at... More

If you want to relive your youth and pretend to be a student again this is the place for you. Staff were welcoming and the location is second to none. The rooms are basic as you would expect and in need of a bit of TLC but for a couple of nights and at the price we got means it... More

Stayed at Trinity College Campus for 8 nights. The accommodation was grotty - old, cold, depressing and drab, musty smelling, in need of a make over, loud banging of doors throughout the night. However, the location was great, surroundings beautiful, friendly staff, onsite laundry facilities, food in the buttery very good, and I felt safe and secure there as a... More

After my recent stay in TCD I am disappointed I have to say that I would not reccommend it to anyone. Security Staff were particularly rude and unhelpful making us feel very uncomfortable. The room I satyed in was very old and depressing and I am glad I was only there for a short period of time.

Staying on campus provokes a nice flashback refreshing feeling to people who outgrew the setting otherwise. It is more of a hostel setting but quite sufficient accommodations. Good for people who come with the proper mind set - you here to see Dublin and explore and not to just sit in some hotel.

I felt like I was 19 again staying at Trinity College dorm. The accommodations are very basic, but the location is perfect. I stayed in a single room which included a sink. The two toilets are shared between several other rooms. It wasn't fancy, but I liked the security and peace of being on campus. I also appreciated the well-mannered... More

Was able to stay one night and got a great nights sleep - mattress was dreamy. Room is a dorm room - no TV, no decorations but very cozy. Supplied basics which was more than I expected so pleasantly surprised. They also have a kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. Free Continental breakfast had a lot of... More
