My husband and I stayed in a 3 bed room with our adult daughter. We had our own bathroom which was clean. Shower had lots of hot water with good pressure. Linen was supplied. Breakfast was included which was a good help when starting out early for tours. Staff set out breakfast early so we could get away on our... More

Even if I only stayed for a night I felt like I made a good choice booking at the Ashfield Hostel. It is ideal when it comes to location and the staff is just amazing. They provide you with personalized tips and recommendations for activities during the day and in the evening. The rooms aren't super modern, but clean. There... More

Reception was rather cold, and tried to push us to go on tours we didn't want to go on. We had to switch rooms halfway through our stay to accommodate their other guests. The room was moderately clean but could have been better. Breakfast was phenomenal, better than any hostel I've been to before or since - the only reason... More

It's probably a great as a hostel and a cheap one when staying in dorms. I just felt a bit too old for the place and looked more from an accommodation, especially since I booked a private room. Can't beat the location though, close to everything. Our private twin room was very basic; clean but a bit worn out. Room... More

Great place with really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and cosy and the price is great - really good value. Location is fantastic, very close to Temple Bar area and in the heart of Dublin.

I stayed here one night on the way home to England. The guy on reception was helpful and friendly. The hostel decor is a little shabby but if there's nothing better on offer and you're travelling on a tight budget this is a decent option. The hostel is very central and easy to find in Dublin. There are secure lockers... More

The Ashfield hostel was a very good choice for me and my 4 friends. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and just nice persons. The kitchen is good and big enough for more people to cook at once. There are also enough tables or couches to sit. The only downside that we had with our one night stay is the... More

Arrived and was greeted by friendly staff who were good for a laugh. Room was basic but in good condition. Breakfast was thrown in which I wasn't aware of until I arrived and was a nice touch. Security was good as we came back later with a friend who wasnt staying in the Hostel and they wouldn't let her in... More
