Not particularly appealing from the outside - a concrete block but whilst ugly outside, the interior was a nice surprise. I was attending a conference and stayed here 5 nights - the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was large, airy and spacious with everything that a business traveller needs, free wifi,... More

I stayed here recently for business and unfortunately there were two functions at the hotel during my stay. The band was very loud, even with the window closed. The first evening I checked to see when the music would end and I was told 10.30pm although it then continued for another hour. Two days later there was another function (Wednesday... More

It was one of those hotels where a small amount of work can make a big difference. The bed was very comfortable and clean. However sleep was disturbed as there was no aircon, leaving the window open meant you could hear outside noise. The bath panel needed a new seal so there was water leaking on the floor during shower.... More

In summary - I would have no hesitation staying at the Doubletree .... the location is fantastic - room works - breakfast and food very good but the reason you stay here is the staff ... could not do more for you ...

Stayed here for one night on 5 July with my husband and daughter. We arrived before 11 am and our room was ready, which was fantastic. It was very smart and, as requested, located away from lifts and stairs for peace and quiet. We were checked in by Michael who was so pleasant and welcoming despite me not having brought... More

The hotel from the onset looks great. Rooms are spacious with large TV, king size bed etc .. However the lack of air conditioning is a major issue. It was hitting 23 degrees in Dublin when we stayed with the sun on the window all afternoon. The evenings were just unbearable after this. We spoke to reception about this and... More

Stayed here for three nights on a business trip. Very imposing building in a nice area of Dublin - easy to find - €6 in a taxi from Connolly Station on a Tuesday afternoon. Very cool, modern lobby area with a chic bar and a small snack stand. The lifts were being serviced during my visit so there was a... More

We had a very nice comfortable stay after five days of touring Ireland by car and staying at B&Bs. Large rooms, big beds, big TV. We had fairly nice view towards City Center, but nothing spectacular. All remodeling other complained about seems to be done and the hotel was very busy, but not noisy. It was an easy walk into... More

Recently refurb rooms and lobby area are very nice and everything is of a high quality-beds are very comfortable too. Cool bar area with lots of power points for working. Staff are very friendly in general. Last 2 stays have had some issues though. First time, the a/c in the room on 7th floor was unbearably noisy, resulting in a... More

The hotel looks fantastic inside, you can really tell a lot of work has taken place since the takeover. The bar is brilliant and has a really good atmosphere, although we never ate in it, the food looked lovely. The only downside to the hotel is the room had no aircon and we had to leave the window open all... More
