Not sure exactly what we paid because a t.a. booked our stay but I know it was very expensive. It has a great location and breakfast was wonderful. We had a nice river view room but it was still very noisy with all the traffic below. I can imagine that staying on the other side would be just as loud... more

Though it is a while since our stay, the location will always be the same and that is a bit of a shame. The hotel is close to the heart temple bar, too close!!!! Beware of rooms to the rear of the hotel as you will be kept up all night by the hum of extractor fans and the proffusion... more

The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was good, but the room was very basic with a tiny TV and no air con. The bathroom needed a major overhaul. It was well over-priced - we were expecting much more for our money. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room so had to use expensive room service instead.... more

I had this image that the Clarence would be boutique-y in the sense of modern, clinical, scatter cushions everywhere, space-age lighting, especially bearing in mind it's pop star owners.
