I have spent in this nice hotel three nights during Easter time. Everything has been positive, the warm welcome, the rooms, the position of the hotel. The staff is always very helpful. Nice furniture. I would certainly love to return, in case they maintained the same good offer for a three night package.

I knew about the Clarence from sightseeing on my last trip. It was even worth mentioning on the Dublin visitors tour bus. It's one of the prettiest rooms I ever had in any hotel. The room is well equipped, the staff very helpful and the Full Irish Breakdast not too bad to start a day.

I've waited a long time to visit this hotel and I was terrible disappointed . Our rooms were ready early which was a bonus. We were shown to our rooms to find two very shabby rooms . Thread bear carpets, marks on the wall, water marked table. The only lights which worked were the bedside lamps. The bathroom sink didn't... More

We travelled to Dublin for my Husband's 40th Birthday celebrations. I had informed the hotel we were staying for a special celebration in advance and they upgraded our room to a Suite!! A beautiful hotel overlooking the Liffey and within walking distance of all the bars/shops/sightseeing. The room had everything that we needed for our stay and more. We did... More

In Ireland you are entitled to 30 minutes drinking up time after last orders. In a five star hotel I really didn't expect to be shouted at to drink up 15 minutes after we get our drinks while the bar staff hoovered around our feet. An unnecessarily unpleasant experience.

We stayed at The Clarence Hotel at the weekend. Our room was lovely, very clean and had a balcony over Temple Bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was at 2pm. We arrived at 9am and our room was ready for us - great service! Would definitely stay here again!

I loved this hotel! My room was lovely with a great view on the River Lifey. The windows were double paned so if you want it really quiet, close both - if you don't mind noise, leave them open - it's up to you. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and just really nice. It was my first... More

Well in the center located, it's ok clean and simple. Probably not too cheap and not too "designy". But we enjoyed our stay, the friendly staff helped. There are some fun restaurants and shops just around, and if you want to go to dive bars, also called pubs in Dublin, you are right at the spot.
