Stayed at the Clarence for two nights on business. Had a room to the rear which was very well sized, (huge bed!), and exceptionally clean and modern. Room had many good features such as hair dryer, alarm clock, and even a set of earplugs (since the hotel is located close to some bars). Earplugs not required as slept very well... More

Lovely hotel, fantastic staff, great ambience, would not hesitate to recommend this great hotel. Right in the heart of the city surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Nice bar in the hotel and quiet lounge area.

the location could not be better (next to Temple Bar). can get noisy at night specially on weekends but they have a great restaurant and breakfast is very good. the rooms are small but comfortable. I would only add a larger tv.

Stayed at the Clarence for one night had a room to the rear of the hotel. the hotel is beautiful and so was our room which had a huge bathroom with twin sinks which I liked ... The huge bedroom had a seating area, mini bar and a big comfy bed ..I think we were upgraded as only booked a... More

First ever trip to Dublin and went as part of a trip organised by others, so had no choice in selection of the hotel. However, could not fault it. Room was well fitted out and spacious, but was looking a bit "tired". Could do with a few cosmetic updates. Breakfast was superb. Bar was good. Is in a good spot... More

Touring the British Isles, staying at 4-5 Star Hotels - the Clarence was a last minute decision. We never anticipated the genuine attention and assistance received, not only from the staff we encountered, but the hotel's GM - Mr. Michael O'Connor. The hotel, rooms and service turned our stay into a Magical one - not before, nor now, after our... More

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for one night. Overall the hotel was ok but not the best hotel we stayed at while in Ireland. It is in a convenient location in Dublin, within walking distance of plenty of good restaurants (Queen of Tarts and The Winding Stair are a few minutes away on foot), lots of pubs... More

We had three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it.Ideally situated for the near by Temple Bar and numerous attractions.Think we were lucky as our room was nice and quite and not at rear of hotel near adjoining club. Room was very clean with a big comfy bed, could do with bigger towels tho. Staff very helpful and happy which was nice.

This hotel is really well situated if you like the party life. A stones throw or less to temple bar area. If you've a room to the rear of the hotel you'll get the full brunt of the noise. Which at the weekend will last to about 2 am before it gets quite. This however shouldn't take away from the... More

Lovely hotel, fast check in bags dealt with on check In and stored all day on departure. Well stocked mini bar for 1 night, room service quick and tasty, even complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste as we forgot ours!
