Ann was a pleasant and friendly host who was very helpful as we had to leave at 6.00am the next morning to get to the airport. She helped organize our parking and set out breakfast to ensure a healthy start to the day. The room was on the smaller side but still comfortable although the bathroom was tiny. However, our... We had a real warm welcome in Dublin at Ann's place. Ann gave us the feeling of coming home. Ann is helpfull, friendly, interested in other people and honest and open to others. We really enjoyed our stay in Dublin with her. Muckross House is close to the city. The busstop is close to the house but we prefered to... More

Myself and my wife stayed here in June 2010 for 3 nights. We had not expecte much when we arrived but we were wonderfully surprised. The House its self is an Old Georgian style just 5 minuts outside the centre of Dublin City, and it was great to be able to walk to and from the city! The rooms were... More

I'd like to update my previous review on Muckross House. Last week Ireland B&B association got involved after they were aware of this incident. They negotiated with Muckross House owner, and refunded that charge to us as goodwill. We are happy with Ireland B&B association's service. They responded promptly and friendly.

We spent our last night in Ireland in the Muckross House. Our week was spent in other B&Bs, so we had a basis for comparison when staying here. It was definitely more updated than the others, and more spacious. Location wasn't bad either - if you're ok with a 1-2 mile walk downtown. The owner was suffering a migraine (which... More

We spent our last night in Dublin. After spending 7 hours in our car coming back from the countryside, it was wonderful to check in to this B&B. The hostess, Ann was so wonderful, and we would highly recommend staying here. Beds were comfortable but the hospitality really made you feel welcome.
