One night stay for a stop over before flight out of Dublin, it was cheap, and that's what you get, the bed was clean and the shower was warm so was happy with it for the price, cannot comment on the kitchen and comfy area as didn't use, would use again if still as cheap

terrible experience. Luckily we stayed only our last night. We paid 50 euros just to sleep in a ensuite room. Actually we couldn't have the shower because the shower was so dirty . Both bathrooms (tiny and old) and room were very very dirty. The carpet hadn't seen the vacuum for centuries. The smell in the hostel was disgusting and... More

I paid for a one night stay here when running a half marathon in Dublin, and found that it was as basic a hostel as you could possibly visit. The rooms are standard, painted white and relatively clean, with plenty of space between bunk beds (always a good thing). My main gripe is with the shower facilities. The showers were... More

I should preface this by saying that I didn't actually make it through the night here, but I do feel I have been traumatised enough to justify leaving a review anyway, Top 10 complaints: 1) damp bedding 2) dead spiders left smashed on walls and ceiling of a private room 3) mould-blackened ceiling in shower 4) cobwebs everywhere 5) insect-infested... this was by far the most horrific place i ever spent a night. me and a friend stayed there after a concert. when we arrived the man at reception was having a full on screaming match with 3 men and just left us standing there. we were shown our room and it was filthy, smelt of piss and was literraly... Rooms were okay, beds were comfortable and the shower was also good. A basic place to stay where backpackers will definitely have enough to get through the night. Breakfast is not included in the price but you do have a possibility of making your own food in the kitchen. A more negative point was the parking: we had to pay... More

staff was unfriendly & unorganised, disgustingly dirty kitchen (which doesn't seem to be cleaned ever), saw mouse in the kitchen, dirt and rubbish (old pieces of wood etc.) in the yard, only two (dirty) showers and one toilet for all dorm rooms, used sanitary towels & tampons in cupboard under sink, "free wifi" - worst connection ever. We booked in... More

As a last minute trip for ed sheeran concert my friend and I booked here as it was cheap.... Lets just say you definitely get what you pay for. Staff were friendly enough on arrival, we originally booked a 12 bed dorm and were advised that we would be staying in a 6 bed which we thought happy days be... More

This hostel is located about a 5-10 minute walk from O'Connell Street and is easy to find. The Manager was friendly and the doona extremely comfortable. There was also free WiFi but that's about where the positives end. The ensuite was pokey and the shower almost useless. Towels were not provided unless asked for and my daughter found dead insects... This was one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. Was dirty and no effort put into up keeping. Didn't even go in to communal kitchen. I refused to take a shower. not cheap enough to be in that condition
