After looking at the reviews beforehand, I didn't look forward to staying here whatsoever. But to me and my friends the place was great. The man in the reception was very kind and checking in was quick and easy. We had one of the 4 person private rooms on the top floor, which had an en-suite with a shower. We... More

This hostel has made up my mind to never want to stay in a hostel ever again. It's old and dirty, and the facilities are the worst. We checked in late and there is no discretion with the staff when it comes to any information. There were a bunch of people sitting in the lobby, who I didn't even see... More

Absolutely disgusting place to stay. First checked in and came to reception to ask for an extra pillow to be shouted at by the owner to get to my f...ing room. I could not believe the way in which we where treated. Asked for extra towels to be told no. You have to have one towel the whole stay which... More

Staff were superb and very friendly. Some of the fittings in the room were slightly hazardous but overall it was terrific. Furniture in the room made communal activities an ease, lovely flat surfaces. Vending machines were also a joy. Wifi faultless and worked perfectly 0% of the time. Overall a great weekend filled with great memories. Ps, the train going... More

Just check pictures, you don't need to know anything else. Never get in! Two shared toilets for four floor house of horror say quite enough. I think Ireland hygiene should close this place and owners should be send to hell. BTW Free wifi? There is only on reception and almost didn't work at all...

"Hospitality" and "Hygiene" are NOT in their vocabulary. Raised the prices the next day! We only stayed here because nothing else was available in the middle of the night. Mold on ceiling, dirty showers, toilet doesn't flush properly, very unfriendly owner (the Italian guy is the owner, I presume?). Next day we still didn't get a room anywhere else. We... More

Firstly, it's a very dirty and stinky place. Your clothes will smell like junk food and you will not want to even enter their kitchen area. All their furniture is dirty and falling apart. Wash rooms are unsanitary and very small. The staff is kind of OK but you will have to deal with the ones that speak next to... More

We payed 600€ for 1 week for a 4 dorm private room. Every day in 10h30 until 12h we didn't have water and sometimes no more electric heating. Some people stole the food from our back and no one wash the dishes. We had only two or three fork and spoon to eat something ( not enough to everyone live... More

We had a 3-4 bed room on the top floor. (70 steps...) Room and beds are OK Shower almost no water pressure. Only al little trickle... Kitchen inhabited by Eastern Europeans who live in the hostel and don't like other guests. Staff was friendly enough.
