Very nice welcome on arrival, bedroom was very tired decor chipped paint, headboard appeared to be broken on one side, very soft mattress, ensuite was small, broken tiles at front of shower, very poor water pressure in shower overall the room did not look well maintained. I stayed here back in march and it was quite nice.Manager Louise and her team was always there to help anytime. Room was spacious and clean. Good location with Phoenix park next door and right next to the bus stop for city centre which takes about 25 minutes. Thank you for making my stay comfortable.

We used this accommodation for Bloom in the Park. This is 10 bedroom guesthouse run by a very friendly and welcoming Scottish lady by the name of Louise. When we arrived there was a slight mix up with the room required. We had asked for a twin bedded room, but ended up with a double room. We got over this,... More

The location is great but thereafter it is all really poor. It would appear the place was decorated over 30 years ago and nothing has been done to maintain or improve it during the meantime. The carpets were dirty, mattress had springs protruding, the pillow was extremely thin and the towels were close to threadbare. The shower door was broken... More

This place is by far the worst accomotation I have ever seen. We arrived after traveling for 18 hours, and were expecting a normal B&B ( which are usually lovely in Ireland), instead we found a rundown filthy room. There was at least 1 inch of dust on top of the wardrobe, the springs were sticking up out of the... More

By far and away the very worst accommodation in Ireland. Filthy rooms. Little furnishings. Unclean bathrooms, appalling food, fleas galore, a shame and a terrible discredit to that wonderful country. We should have been wary the moment the Doberman walked into the restaurant from the kitchen ! (probably daring us to complain) If you love spiders and cobwebs, and dreadful... More

No one in charge or taking responsibility - scottish women just out of hospital to give us key was nice but ......useless - Room door hit camp bed when opened. Double bed broken. Bathroom dirty - broken facilities. 2 towels for 4 people. Radiator came on early... More

It's easy enough to catch a cab or bus here but it's not really a convenient place to stay for touring. The room was ok, kind of dormitoryish. They try to deorate. Bathroom has shower stall and needs repairs. It is an older building with the creaky floors and stairway. The couple that looked after the place were friendly and... More
