We stayed for two nights and arrived late. Our room was out to the back and we had a place to park our car in the backyard which was really nice. The bedroom and the bath were small but fine for two people and two nights. The place was cozy and overall clean. The breakfast was nice and both Sandra,... More

I took my girlfriend as a surprise to Dublin for Valentine's weekend and stayed at Botanic Villa - it was absolutely everything that I wanted it to be. From excellent location to a lovely room with comfy bed and ensuite, this place really had everything we wanted. Sandra and Ken were both extremely friendly, making conversation and providing advice and... More

I've spent nearly two weeks in Botanic Villa last September and I would definitely do it again. The B&B is just a 20-minute walk away from Dublin's city centre and those not willing or able to walk can still take the bus that takes one directly to O'Connell Street. The room I stayed in had more than enough space and... More

This was the first place we stayed during our trip to Ireland. Sandra was gracious enough to let us check in extremely early when we arrived from the airport and even offered us toast, coffee, and a hot shower before we headed out in a jet-lagged haze to see Dublin. She helped us park our car at the B&B, which... More

I cant really add much to the positive reviews so far expressed, what I will say is that any negatives I have read are from people who dont understand Dublin. These people expect gold taps and a sea view at these prices ? Get in the real world and write a helpful review. real people, real experience, real dublin -... More

Attached a photo of the friendly hosts of Botanic Villa: Sandra and Ken. The Villa is located approx. 20 -30 minutes walking from the centre, but has many buses going to and from the center stopping close to it.

A really nice and helpful couple run this B&B but in my opinion I dont think the standard of the room I had and the bathroom is worth 45 eur a night. Cracks in the walls, electric plugging hanging in silvertape, spiderwebs, old dust on the lamp in the ceiling and a really wobbly matrass. The bath is cleaned several... More

My trip to Dublin was my first solo international experience. Luckily, Sandra and Ken were more than hospitable and guided me during my trip. My first morning in Dublin, they cooked me a delicious Irish breakfast (one that I would gladly eat every morning), gave me suggestions on what to see and what to avoid (take the Hop on Hop... More
