Stayed here for the recent Ed Sheeran concert. Super location. Close to Luas and taxis. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Owner David a true gentleman and so helpful with transport etc. Will definitely return when in Dublin again. Well worth a visit!

David and Aida's home was absolutely beautiful. A victorian style home with plenty of room. Our bedroom was huge with very comfortable beds. I believe most rooms have a shared bathroom, but they gave my wife and I the one private one. Each morning they served a great home cooked breakfast and accommodated any requests we had. David was a... More

When we arrived at 7 pm, nobody was here to welcome us. Our key was under the doormat. This sad experience on arrival was however partially compensated with the quality of the room : clean and rather comfortable. In the morning, it took us five minutes to find the breakfast room which was located in the basement. We found ourselves... More

First off, this location is very difficult to find even for locals. We arrived "late" and no one was there to greet us. Actually the lady was there but apparently didn't hear the bell or the knocking. We called the guy and he didn't answer phone. We booked 2 bed en suite and were offered 2 twin no bathroom, but... We arrived at this B&B a few moments late because the cab driver could not find the place. No one was there because we arrived after 12 noon. We had to wait on the steps for him to come home. It was suppose to have an ensuite. First to go to the bathroom we had to go down the hall.... More

Difficult to find. No on street parking had to park a block away. David Boyle, son of proprietor, kept pressuring us to arrive before noon, but then didn't respond to an email indicating our arrival at the standard arrival from 1500-1700...Not friendly, very businesslike man. Room was large but stifling hot if windows were not open and no screens in... More

This B&B promised a bathroom adjoining our room. We did not get it, but had one down the hall. We were told that we would be the only people using it. Not true. It was not a friendly place at all. My husband and I were very happy to leave it!

We only stayed in St. Judes for one night before leaving early in the morning for a flight. We had scheduled a check-in for 6 pm as we had planned to visit Blarney Castle in Cork and then drive to Dublin. We booked in November, plenty of notice for a later check in. Unfortunately, we got an email from the... More

I booked this B&B for my husband and a small group of family/friends for a trip for his 40th birthday. The location was excellent (it is on an tram line straight into the city centre)and the service was great, I'm told the breakfasts were brilliant! Everyone who went agreed that although it was maybe a tiny bit worn around the... More
