Wonderful staff and good breakfast. Not many amenities so be prepared to feel like you've gone back in time. It is close to everything and the staff is accommodating as you could expect. Although renovated, it's still a bit behind the times. No air conditioning so if it's warm be prepared to leave the windows open.

First off, the location of this hotel is great for exploring Dublin. The hotel is right across from St. Stephen's Green and a short walk to Grafton Street, Trinity College and the rest the city has to offer. It is also right next door to a 24-hour Starbucks for those that need a constant coffee fix. The breakfasts included with... More

Dear UnboundTraveler, Thank you for taking the time to review us. Sorry to hear about the alarm which disturbed you and the water issues - can certainly get both looked into. Hope to see you in the future. Warm Regards, Siobhan Ryan More

The Cliff Townhouse was the last stay of our 17-day tour of Ireland, and it was a great two-night end to the trip. It's in an old Georgian house, and it is perfectly located across from St. Stephen's Green and a block from Grafton St.--very walkable. Small room, but large bathroom, and all amenities provided. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfasts,... More

Visited here today with my Parents. We had reserved a table for the Afternoon Sea, assorted seafood served on a cake stand. We arrived early so had a drink at the Oyster Bar. When our table was ready, we were shown the menu and ordered our wine. For €25 per person, Afternoon Sea can be enjoyed with a glass of... More

Booked lunch for a large family group aged from 8 to 80. When we arrived, we were slightly fewer than had been advised - no problem! Tables were slightly rearranged and the children given an adjacent table to themselves, which they loved. Given the range of palates and preferences, some guests ordered from the set lunch menu, some from the... More

The Cliff Town House is well situated overlooking St Stephen's Green within easy walking distance of museums, galleries, Trinity College and Grafton Street shopping. Taxi ranks are close. Although our room overlooked a busy street it was quiet. It was spacious and the bathroom well-fitted and supplied. Tea and coffee in each room. Breakfast in the restaurant on the ground... More

Shared a seafood platter with a friend. Quite reasonable given the amount of fish. Also had the most delicious chips.. They need to be tried! Finished off with a cocktail for dessert with waiting staff going out of their way to ensure all requests were met

Stayed here for 1 night and couldn't find fault. Our room was a park view room. Good size for city centre hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was excellent. Nice waiter who knew everything about the food on the menu. Breakfast the following morning was a feast, fruit and yogurt to start.... More

The hotel is in a historic building so they are limited in what they can do to upgrade so getting our two large suitcases up to our room was a bit of a challenge. The room was nice, but there is no air conditioning so it was warm upon arrival. We opened the window and set the fan near it... More

Booked a room here for a very special occasion, dropped off a suitcase in the afternoon and the friendly woman on the desk said it would be waiting in our room when we returned and no need to check in as I was in a rush, an excellent start! Arrived back in the early hours of the morning and the... More

Dear FullBellyFull, Thank you for your review. I do apologises about the luggage miscommunication and the "lack" of communication on departure - not our normal standards or practises and something we can easily rectify! The Viking Splash tour do like to make themselves known alright, that said they do a mighty fine tour of Dublin! Warm Regards, Siobhan Ryan More
