I've entertained business clients at the Cliff Townhouse 3 times already this year as it is the perfect restaurant in Dublin to showcase The best of Irish seafood to international visitors. I'd highly recommend their cold seafood platters for sharing - a little on the expensive end but always impresses with great presentation. A good selection of wines and Irish... More

The Cliff Town House was very well located for most of the things we wanted to do in Dublin: the National Museum of Ireland (both Archaeology and Natural History buildings), walks in St. Stephen's Green, the Little Museum of Dublin, pubs and for catching a tour bus to Newgrange. Breakfasts were beautiful as well as tasty, plus the breakfast waiter... More

Excellent service! Great food! We started with half a dozen oysters, then a crab salad. Finally the black sole which was exquisite although slightly over cooked. Nice atmosphere! I highly recommend it for business lunches or dinners as well as for a romantic night out.

We stayed here for one night mid week. This is a lovely place to stay. I am reading other reports about over pricing but remember you are staying in one of the most expensive areas in Dublin City overlooking beautiful Stephens green. We had champagne sitting outside the hotel door soaking up the atmosphere, fantastic! The room was in the... More

Had tried to book our stay here but they were full so we stayed at the Westin which was very good. However, we did come for an evening meal in the restaurant. It was the most expensive (and over-priced) and the worst meal that we had during our visit to Dublin, and the service was mediocre. Ordered a medium to... More

we were here for lunch and were disappointed with the food. We both chose pork and it was tough. our mistake was to try to eat it, we should've sent it back. When we did mention to the server that my wife just found it too tough they immediately offered not to charge for the meal and also offered a... More

If you are used to travelling in 4/5 star hotels then do not book a room here. I had room 208 which was really just a bed. No room whatsoever to move around. On arrival nobody offered to help with my luggage even though my room was on the last floor with no lift. Awful view and woken up at... More

The Cliff Town House is an elegant hotel on Stephan's Green. Our room at the top of the house overlooking the Green was beautiful. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I would say it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. It is a lovely place to stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the Clif townhouse! It has a great urban chic vibe, and could not be in a better location for walking in Dublin. The dining room is beautiful, funky with the best mellow sound track ever! We had delicious breakfasts there and one meal that was excellent. We stayed in room 210 which was roomy enough,... More
