A total disaster, I booked this hotel in Feb 2015 and they cancelled it 48hours before the I was due to stay. They only informed me by email without bothering to call me. I called the hotel 3 times and spoke to reception who told me that the manager would call me back but never did. When I spoke to... More

I recently dined at the cliff town house with a friend, the restaurant itself looks amazing it's a real fine dining experience. The staff are absolutely fantastic too they went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time there and the service time was spot on and the restaurant was full too. Most importantly the food was really amazing... More

The restaurant is across from St Stephen's Green and within a block of the Shelbourne Hotel. Service and food were excellent. We were there on the weekend after the Ireland /Wales Rugby match. The Ireland team was staying at our hotel so the area was very busy. However, when you walked in you didn't feel rushed at all. We had... More

Location: perfect, right on St Stephen Green! Rooms: very tastefully designed, clean, spacious enough; however the TV concept in our room wasn't thought through (hard to see from bed), plastic shower curtains seem a bit cheap, 2 mattresses in a double room (king-size bed) aren't as comfortable as one would be. Breakfast: fine selection, outstandingly tasty (tried 3 out of... More

Lovely dining room, excellent meal and service. Coveniently located on St. Stephens Green in a charming townhouse which also includes a small hotel on the floors above the restaurant. Would definitely dine at the elegant Cliff Townhouse again.

This is a lovely place to stay and the location opposite St Stephen’s Green cannot be beaten. The hotel – which is really a restaurant with 9 rooms above – is in a lovely old townhouse which oozes character. This definitely didn’t feel like a boring chain hotel. I decided to pay extra for a room overlooking the Green and... More

I've entertained business clients at the Cliff Townhouse 3 times already this year as it is the perfect restaurant in Dublin to showcase The best of Irish seafood to international visitors. I'd highly recommend their cold seafood platters for sharing - a little on the expensive end but always impresses with great presentation. A good selection of wines and Irish... More

The Cliff Town House was very well located for most of the things we wanted to do in Dublin: the National Museum of Ireland (both Archaeology and Natural History buildings), walks in St. Stephen's Green, the Little Museum of Dublin, pubs and for catching a tour bus to Newgrange. Breakfasts were beautiful as well as tasty, plus the breakfast waiter... More

Excellent service! Great food! We started with half a dozen oysters, then a crab salad. Finally the black sole which was exquisite although slightly over cooked. Nice atmosphere! I highly recommend it for business lunches or dinners as well as for a romantic night out.

We stayed here for one night mid week. This is a lovely place to stay. I am reading other reports about over pricing but remember you are staying in one of the most expensive areas in Dublin City overlooking beautiful Stephens green. We had champagne sitting outside the hotel door soaking up the atmosphere, fantastic! The room was in the... More
