The hotel is in a historic building so they are limited in what they can do to upgrade so getting our two large suitcases up to our room was a bit of a challenge. The room was nice, but there is no air conditioning so it was warm upon arrival. We opened the window and set the fan near it... More

Booked a room here for a very special occasion, dropped off a suitcase in the afternoon and the friendly woman on the desk said it would be waiting in our room when we returned and no need to check in as I was in a rush, an excellent start! Arrived back in the early hours of the morning and the... More

Visited last week and went for the Early Bird menu. 3 courses for 28euro, excellent value considering the high quality of food. Good selection of dishes for each course. I would absolutely recommend the lobster salad, the duck leg and the dessert was amazing. A nice little chocolate fondant accompanied by a fabulous light chocolate mousse and a strong coffee... More

We had the best experience at Cliff Town House. The staff, especially Siobhan, was amazing and so helpful. We had two rooms: both with city street view, however, it wasn't too loud at all (compared to what I had been reading on other reviews for other hotels). There was definitely "city noise" (cars, drunk people, etc.) but nothing that kept... More

High praise you might say. There are many fine hotels in Dublin old and new and of course many not so good. This was a really pleasant surprise for me and was chosen as a cheaper option for me through work. The staff when arriving were really pleasant on arrival and welcoming. On first impressions are that the hotel is... More

The Cliff Town House on St Stephen's Green in the centre of Dublin City is the little brother of the Michelin star Cliff Hotel in Ardmore on the Waterford coast. The two could not be more different in their styles or more complementary in what they offer their guests. Ardmore is a luxury retreat, newly built into the cliff with... More

Excellent service and beautiful location. Our room overlooked Steven's Green and was on the third floor so we didn't have any of the noise from the busy street. Cliff Town House is located within walking distance of great food and shopping as we'll as wonderful "traditional" Irish music pubs. We enjoyed the breakfasts. Done very well and very tasty. One... We stayed here for two nights at the end of trip to Ireland. First the good stuff. The staff were very friendly, though they were often run off their feet. The town house is in the best location - just over the road from St Stephen's Green. Couldn't be better. Now for the bad stuff. 1 Like other reviewers we... More

This is such a super spot to both stay and eat in right in the heart of Dublin City centre. Having arrived in the city quite late we decided to stay and eat there on our first night.... Fabulous food!!! Such a great buzz in the restaurant and friendly, welcoming staff throughout! Such a warm & genuine welcome from Siobhan... More

We stayed here on a Sunday night with another couple we had a park view room my friends had a town view room both were fine, an old Georgian house can be hard to subdivide into like for like rooms but this is part of its charm we thought. We didn't eat here apart from breakfast which was wonderful I... More
