This hostel is pretty good. It's clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The common area and kicthen are pretty big. After my recent trip in Europe over the summer I have decided hostels are not my thing.. but this place wasn't too bad.

I stayed here with some colleagues for a conference in Dublin; the rooms were very clean and comfortable, it was quiet at night and the breakfast in the morning was decent. I thoroughly recommend it for any other travellers!

Arrived at the hostel to be told that they had made a mistake with our booking and there wasn't room for us in the hostel that we had booked 4 months ago! We then had to wait an hour for them to try and sort it out to be told we had to go to another hostel across the road!... More

Stayed at the hostel for 2 nights in May 2014 a group if 8 girls from Scotland over to Dublin for a girls weekend. We were all slightly nervous about staying in a "hostel" but honestly it was the best laugh we have ever had. Each bed (4 bunk beds = beds) has 2 plugs each so there was no... More

Quite good! Decent rooms, nice staff, very good location! You can use it for exploring Dublin. Close to Airlink bus station coming from airport. Just a short walk to the famous Temple Bar area. Many shops nearby.

Clean bed, clean bathroom. What more do you need. Somewhere to leave my bags and sleep at night. It was my first experience of staying in a hostel and I will be back. Location was better than some of the pricey hotels. Staff were friendly. I had a more private room, 3bed female dorm. Perfect for my weekend trip and... More

The common areas are really clean. The staff is polite and awfully nice and very good-looking. It is a great place to stay if you're travelling between females and you don't want to be in a mixed dorm. It is very central. All the main attractions are at a walking distance. You can use a free wifi connection even in... More

A big group of us had booked to stay here for new years but I wished we hadn't bothered, they told me when I checked in that my booking wasn't done correctly so my friends are I were allocated different rooms even though I had the email to show what I had booked. I understand new years eve is a... More

Hi Sarah, I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay at Abigails. Unfortunately, as we are a hostel with shared dorms, it's not always possible to accommodate groups in the same room. We state this clearly on all websites on which it's possible to book with us. Of course most groups will be together in the same... More

This hostel is in a prime location in the centre of Dublin. The staff were friendly and it was great value for money. The only problem we experienced was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom looked as though it had not been cleaned after the previous guests had left and the sheets that were provided had black hairs all... More

This is right at the Aston quay, on the banks of the river. The temple bar is a 2 mins walk. The rooms are comfortable and the place is very well managed. Breakfast is basic and rich with cereal, breads, juices, coffee and fruits
