Quite good! Decent rooms, nice staff, very good location! You can use it for exploring Dublin. Close to Airlink bus station coming from airport. Just a short walk to the famous Temple Bar area. Many shops nearby.

Clean bed, clean bathroom. What more do you need. Somewhere to leave my bags and sleep at night. It was my first experience of staying in a hostel and I will be back. Location was better than some of the pricey hotels. Staff were friendly. I had a more private room, 3bed female dorm. Perfect for my weekend trip and... More

The common areas are really clean. The staff is polite and awfully nice and very good-looking. It is a great place to stay if you're travelling between females and you don't want to be in a mixed dorm. It is very central. All the main attractions are at a walking distance. You can use a free wifi connection even in... More

A big group of us had booked to stay here for new years but I wished we hadn't bothered, they told me when I checked in that my booking wasn't done correctly so my friends are I were allocated different rooms even though I had the email to show what I had booked. I understand new years eve is a... More

Hi Sarah, I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay at Abigails. Unfortunately, as we are a hostel with shared dorms, it's not always possible to accommodate groups in the same room. We state this clearly on all websites on which it's possible to book with us. Of course most groups will be together in the same... More

This hostel is in a prime location in the centre of Dublin. The staff were friendly and it was great value for money. The only problem we experienced was the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom looked as though it had not been cleaned after the previous guests had left and the sheets that were provided had black hairs all... More

This is right at the Aston quay, on the banks of the river. The temple bar is a 2 mins walk. The rooms are comfortable and the place is very well managed. Breakfast is basic and rich with cereal, breads, juices, coffee and fruits

In December 2014 I have spent some nights at the abigails hostel, and I guarantee that this is one of the best hostels you have ever been. Great beds with individual sockets for you to charge your electronics. The breakfast is very well served and the crew is very outgoing and looking forward to assist you. It is located right... More

My buddies and I shared a room with three Brits and it got out of control. We stayed for New Years and went to the lobby and had all the guests partying with us from all around the world. It was so much fun! It is located in the middle of all the action.

Hostel was clean and the kitchen facilities were good. The showers themselves weren't the cleanest things in the world, but they weren't disgustingly dirty either. The stagger were helpful when needed, but not overly friendly. I met some great people here and the vibe is pretty good. It gets quote rowdy of a Friday and Saturday night though. Had a... More

Hostel very well located, the price was well worth it and highly recommend it. The breakfast is free, but is very weak. One bad thing is they do not number the beds, only the person enters and chooses his, so I ended up in a bed far away from my friends. Apart from that it's all very good.
