The entire staff was extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile for us! Special mention goes the chatty Shawna and the big muscle-ey Kevin for being the lucky staff whose names we managed to remember :) Everything is clean but - not every guest cleans up after themselves so the kitchen area at times appears a bit messy... This certainly wasn't the nicest hostel I've stayed at. Positives -location close to Temple bar, Trinity college -complimentary breakfast w/toast, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled egg and sometimes fruit. Tea and coffee always available. -small kitchen to cook (closes at 2130) -grocery store practically next door. -staff was helpful finding tours and airport transfers. -price was reasonable Negatives -There are no... It's really big so it didn't have such a fun community feel, but the rooms were nice, the breakfast was included, the location was perfect, and apart from a few noisy early risers it turned out to be a good place to rest and refresh before heading out to explore the city.

Been travelling a month now in hostels, hotels, and b&bs and this is the worst sleep we've had. Initial impressions were great, hostel is in a great location, secure and quite large with a good common area. Check in was friendly. However the room was not the slightest bit sound proof and we had people shouting, laughing and running around... More

I've stayed 3 nights on February'13 in a 6 bed female room ensuite. The location was really great, in walking distance to the city's main attractions. There were a lot of bus stops nearby and the railway station was also close. The price is great. The room, the bathroom, the bed linen, the cleanliness and the breakfast were ok. I... More

stayed here with a group of 8 friends this weekend, have no complaints at all! The room was comfortable and clean, beds comfortable too! It's in a great location, right in the middle of everything (so could be a tad noisy at night but nothing awful!) and the staff are very friendly and helpful! over all a gret place to... More

We got a private room with a canal view. The room was very comfortable, we had our own bathroom, a wardrobe and a little table. Some of the power plugs didn't work, so we had to disconnect the lamp to charge our cellphones. The room and bathroom weren't clean every day, they just take out the trash, they didn't gave... More

Stayed here Easter weekend 2013 with one of my friends. Great location, right next to all the bars in Temple bar - so easy to stumble home to! Rooms were generally clean, we stayed in a room of 10 so it wasn't necessarily the hostels mess but our own! Bathroom was a decent size. Staff are great - and yes... More

The location is great if you plan to visit the city center and the pubs of Temple Bar, you can just walk around. The cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathrooms could be better, but not much of a problem. The staff is excellent, friendly and willing to give information. I recommend.
