Rooms/apartments if you like above the busy The Norseman which it has been changed to recently. I have been to Dublin many times but my better half has not so I wanted somewhere that was easy to find and in the heart of Temple Bar. The room was clean with all the facilities you needed for your trip. We were... More

My husband and I ate here on a Tuesday night - it is called The Norseman now. The food was very nice - I had a burger and my husband had salmon. Generous portions, I couldn't eat all of mine. The waitress was called Fiona, and she was excellent. She was completely rushed off her feet, looking after a full... More

This place is a bar with rooms above. Small rooms with the showers not working in both the rooms we had. Nobody to call in the morning about that (it's a bar). Understandably noisy but is very very noisy until at least 4am - certainly on Sat night we were there. Far better value slightly further out of the city.... More

really great craft beer menu...impressed by how many they had on draft. the potato-leek soup was fabulous, the woman bartending was just delightfully kind to this ol' lady lingering and writing in her journal. very cute place, very friendly, very good soup!

Called in here for a few drinks during the build up to the recent American college clash at Croke Park. The place was bunged to the rafters, well to be honest everywhere was bunged to the rafters but great service and crack, Formerly Farringtons I believe.

I will attempt an even-handed overview of what occurred during our stay. All of what I write here exempts Darren, one of the bar men who was truly kind, courteous, and helpful. Aside from the soup, he is the best thing going for this place. After an incredibly unfortunate journey we arrived 15 hours later than expected--weary and tired. The... More

Went to the Temple Bar district for grub, beer, Irish music and to see the world cup football. Was pottering around to find a lively bar yet quiet atmosphere to have dinner and stumbled upon the Norseman Pub as it is known at present. Hubby and i opted to come here as it feels right with a friendly ambience and... More

i stayed in this hotel for only one night and my stay was outstanding. we arrived at the hotel before check in time and our room was expedited to be cleaned first in order to get us into our room first. The room was spotless and the view was amazing with a mix of the river and the road. I... More
