We stayed in the Fitzwilliams Townhouse on a family vacation in March 2015 - a few days before St. Patrick's Day. The price could not be beat and the location was amazing. The City Centre of Dublin is a very easy & safe walk away. We were 1 block from Merrion Square, 3 blocks from St. Stephens Green, and 5... More

My first mistake was thinking this was the Fitzwilliam Hotel which it is not. For over €120 per night I expected more. It was clean and the front desk person was nice but it was very run down and shabby. I wore trainers just to walk on the carpet. There is no lift and the hallways are tired. It is... More

We made this booking based on the price, not knowing this area of Dublin. The hotel is a townhouse with Some original features. Our room, first floor, next to reception area, was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Coffee- teamaking facilities and a hairdryer. Room was very clean! We were a bit concerned staying next to the entrance... More

Shared a 3 bed room here which cost £85 each for 2 nights. Great value and it really did the trick as just 10 - 15 mins walk from St Stephens green and the beautiful centre of Dublin. Clean and unfussy.

Very close to St Stevens Green and City centre. Clean and comfortable rooms at a very good price. We did not try the breakfast as we had an early Ferry crossing . I would definitely recommend it to couples and families. Some good pubs very close with Irish music and entertainment, also some rugby themed as well. This would make... More

I'm a native of Dublin but living in the US for 27 years. This was more of business trip and we stayed at Fitzwilliam House. The location is fantastic in a safe area that is walking distance to everywhere in the city. The house retains much of the original character, but with modern day comforts. Room and bathroom was clean.... More

Stayed here for a weekend break. Chose the hotel purely for the value. At £113 for 2 nights at a weekend, it was an easy decision. AirCoach from the airport to Trinity College at 6 euros each, around 20 minutes. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Grafton Street which is well lit and a nice area. It is... More

Lovely townhouse. Brilliant location - everything is within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was large and comfy if a little outdated. Would stay again if visiting Dublin. Perfect for a weekend city stay.

Stayed for 3 nights. Friendly and helpful staff, brilliant, safe walking location for both town centre (10 mins) and Aviva stadium (20 mins), good shower pressure, warm and comfortable room. A tiny bit of updating in the room (uneven mattresses) would make this a perfect 5 all round, but regardless, I highly recommend it. Would definitely stay here again!
