The Fitzwilliam Townhouse gets most of it's points for it's fabulous city centre location. St Stephen's Green & Grafton Street are just a few minutes walk & there are lots of nice, cafés, restaurants & bars on your doorstep. The accommodation is basic, nothing fancy, but my room was really clean, cosy & well-laid out. It was situated on the... More

We went as a group of 6 girls for a weekend two nights in triple rooms. Good choice great location and places to eat close by. Rooms have towels , shower gel, shampoo and coffee and kettle. The shower wasn't great but it did the job. Also we were on the top floor so had to walk up a few... More

It's a great location. In a nice part of the City and close to the action. There are good restaurant and pub options nearby. Check in and check out was smooth. We stayed in a family room on the 3rd floor. Room was large enough and pleasant. Shower was average at best. Staff friendly and overall a solid option.

Stayed for two nights in November. Comfortable and clean rooms for a decent nights sleep which is the most important. Breakfast at Fig and Barrow was very good. Staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Converted old Georgian House so lots of stairs which may not be good for everyone. Overall a very good stay and would recommend.

Overall the visit to this Victorian guest house was good! The hotel is an old townhouse , thus the rooms are old with outdated fixtures but clean. The location is residential and not noisy at all which is nice. It is walking distance to the shops and city center and there are couple of local pubs very close to the... More

We selected the Fitzwilliam Townhouse because it appeared online to offer great value along with a convenient and safe location. That turned out to be exactly what we got. The Townhouse (not to be confused with the Fitzwilliam Hotel) is an old residential townhouse with many of its original features such as the bannister and wood moldings on the walls.... More

We had the family room which was on the top floor, although we were told at check in that had we been there earlier, there was another on a lower floor. The man at the reception helped us bring our luggage up the stairs which was much appreciated. We spent 3 nights (over a weekend) and it was very quiet... More

This is a fairly old - 'historic', even - townhouse not far from Dublin city centre. It has the advantage of being just far enough out to be away from crowds and late-night revellers, but still close enough to walk in to the centre in 15 or 20 minutes. It's seen better days but the room was nice and big,... More

I chose this hotel for location, but we were very disappointed as the level of service was very ordinary. Firstly, the entrance is very narrow. Arriving you felt like you were checking into a hostel. The lady at the desk was friendly and also suggested a good local restaurant. If you have luggage and you book the family room, it... More

We arrived from the USA around 07:30 and were welcomed at the Fitzwilliam Townhouse. Although it was too early for check in we were able to leave our bags while we went out for breakfast and some sight-seeing. When we returned at 11:00 we were able to check in and take a restful nap. Even though the Fitzwilliam, located at... More
