Unbelievable to think this majestic home on a hill overlooking Donnegal Bay was a B&B! The photos can't do it justice but be sure to take a look. We arrived in time to go to the Donnegal Food Festival which is a must if your schedule permits. We brought back some delicious goodies we got at the festival to have... More

Large rooms, gourmet breakfast, magical location. Jackie and her family are lovely, and we enjoyed our stay in the Tower Room. the B&B is on a hill overlooking a tidal inlet, with farms on either side. Note that there are no restaurants within walking distance, so you will need a vehicle. Jackie will give you some good recommendations for restaurants... More

If you're ever admired the majestic vistas of Western Ireland and wondered what it would be like to experience such a setting firsthand then Rossmore Manor is THE place to go. My husband and I were completely captivated by the personality of this whimsical home and its beautiful surroundings during our 4 night stay. The star-studded sky, horses (including newborn... More

This B&B is on a hill with a great view over the bay, a short drive from town. We really enjoyed staying here, the room was very roomy and comfortable, the service from Geoff and Jackie was excellent. The friendly atmosphere made us feel very much at home.

Rossmore is in a magic setting on top of the hill by the bay. Gorgeous views! The house is modern rather than historic but it is built to look like a castle. Cool staircase and medieval decor. Geoff was very helpful with suggestions for what to see in Donegal and where to eat/listen to music. Breakfast was fresh and tasty... More

I enjoyed communicating with Geoff (one of the hosts) before our arrival and from that I knew that this visit would be "special". He and his wife Jackie (the co-host) were as friendly and welcoming as I thought. The manor itself is a little hard to find (get the GPS coordinates and follow the directions on the B&B website); but,... More

Sits overlooking several finger bays of the Atlantic Ocean that recede with the tides. The house is castle like with all the modern conveniences. Little gargoyles adorn the property. The walk to the main road passes pastures with horses and sheep. Idyllic in everyway

We were 2 couples all on motorbikes and were looked after from the moment we arrived, Wow, what a place, the view from the front was beautiful, it was made all the more perfect as we didn't get a a drop of rain whilst there, 3 nights of pure luxury, our friends were in the Hobbit room, I can only... We arrived at sunset, with the tide on the way out and woke to find it in. Just part of life at Rossmore. Rossmore Manor is located 1k down a country lane that brings you to this rather secluded cove on the Atlantic coast. The Manor sits up on a rise above the sea. Geoff and Jackie have created a...
