This charming B&B is located in the country outside Donegal (5 min. drive away) and even with the GPS navigation sistem we arrived to one of their neighbors, but luckily they gave us necessary direction. We stayed at Heeneys three nights and it was excellent experience. Our room on the second floor was very large and very comfortable. Breakfast -... More

This home is very lovely, and the hosts are gracious, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breda's husband came to rescue us up as we were hopelessly turned around in Donegal Town, guided us to their gorgeous home. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Breda has a great sense of humor, and also cooks a... More

The pictures don't do it justice, Heeney's Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. Rather than pay the extortionate prices of the Lough Eske Castle Hotel whilst attending a family Wedding there, we booked into Heeney's lodge and where never so glad we did. Within Walking distance (although there is an all night taxi service available) of the Castle itself,... More

My fiancé and I stopped for a night in this B&B. We wouldn't stay in B&B's too often but we were very happy with our choice. The room was huge and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the owner is really nice and helpful. I would certainly recommend it if you're in that part of the world. A... More

My wife and I stayed at Breda's Heeney's Lodge for three nights on 9th, 10th and 11th of august 2011. Despite earlier reviews we found the house quite easily and Breda welcomed us with a choice of rooms. The Blue Room that we chose is on the ground floor and is beautifully furnished and epuipped with a double and single... More

Just returned from a three night stay at The Heeneys Lodge. Breda and her mother could not have been more welcoming whether on the telephone before we arrived or during our stay. Our room was lovely, loads of space, comfortable beds and pillows and very clean. There were also 3 comfy armchairs if you had time to spend in your... More

We stayed at Heeneys 2 weeks ago as we were attending a wedding at Solis Lough Eske Castle. We had 2 perfect nights at the B+B with Breda and her family helping out in any way they could. We followed signs for the Castle, then found signs for Heeneys Lodge once we got close. It seemed easy to find. The... More

We stayed in Heeney's Lodge over New Years and both myself and my partner found it to be a wonderful experience. The rooms were warm and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the power shower en suite was super. I cant recommend this B&B highly enough. We found Breda to be a very welcoming landlady, very friendly and willing... More
