We were lucky enough to stay at Ardeevin for our overnight in Donegal. It was the best b&b of our trip. The rooms were huge, spotless and welcoming. They were the most comfortable beds of the trip with fluffy comforters and really soft sheets. The breakfast was great and the owners fantastic. Donegal was our favorite spot in Ireland -... more

We booked a couple of nights at Ardeevin Guest House in advance of our trip to Ireland. Mary and Sean were exemplary hosts and showed us the very best of Irish hospitality. They were so gracious and made us feel "at home in their home." Our room was exceptional and the beds were the most comfortable of all the B&Bs... more

I travelled to Donegal for a short break, intending to travel around the B&Bs. The first house we had booked, Ardeevin, was so good that we spent all of our break there, four nights in total. This home was excellent, Mary and Sean are lovely people and could not do enough for us; the standard of the accommodation was excellent,... more

when my sister and I arrived (with a confirmed twin reservation-we have the email to prove it) the room we were shown had a great big kingsized bed and we specifically wanted two. We arrived at about 5 in the afternoon and were going out to dinner....."my husband will change around the room for you when he gets back", but... more

We stopped in Donegal after 3 weeks of touring Ireland. Of all the guest housed we stayed in this one is special. It is beautifully decorated in the Irish theme, it is a large home on a lovely land scaped hill side. It has fantastic views of the countryside including Lough Eske. Our large room faced the beautiful view. We... more

I used Tripadvisor to find this hotel after the great reviews and it really lived up to what people have said. The hosts were wonderful and looked after us very well. Our rooms were the best rooms we had in any of the B&B's that trip. Comfortable and with everything you could want to make the stay a good one.... more

A great little place. A welcoming reception on arrival with good tips on local restaurants and pubs. Front rooms have amazing uninterrupted views of the loch. Lots of small perks in the room, with a great attention to detail. Amazing breakfast of fresh ginger bread, soda bread and the best french toast ever, with many other choices. Just wish the... more

We had a confirmed reservation. However when we arrived we were told they were overbooked. We were shown the register that had our name written in, but were told that as another guest had wanted to extend their stay they gave them our room without our consent or e-mailing us to advise us. The owner phoned around to try to... more

We booked the Ardeevin whilst on a driving holiday through Ulster following good reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. The house is in a perfect location looking out over Lough Eske a few miles from Donegal Town, up a windy road off the N15, but well sign-posted. Sean and Mary have a lovely big house with very well sized... more

What the B&B experience should be. Comfortable, immaculate, quiet, picturesque, great value for money. Nestled beside Lough Eske. Yard is beautifully manicured and inviting for a sit-down and peaceful view of the lake. The hosts were as hospitable as you could want, and the breakfasts were a treat. Traveled around the west of Ireland with three others, and we all... more
