My parents stayed in the Ballyliffen for a Wedding. To start the bed spread in the bedroom had 2 enormous black stains, and the room had only a velux window. My parents could not even look out a window because there wasn't any. Considering they paid 180 Euro's for one night B&B!!!!..... it was extremely disappointing. I had e-mailed the... more

We stayed in Ballyliffen Hotel and Spa for one night. My overall impression of the hotel is negatively tainted by the excessive price. For the money we paid, I would have expected 4 star luxury. Unfortunately Ballyliffen comes up short. The reception area is impressive and we were warmly greeted. Check in was extremely efficient. The room (standard, no sea... more

Just returned after 1 night in this hotel with our 3 kids. Very nice hotel denfin 4star, had dinner in the holly tree resturant, the food was excellent and the service too. If you like high class food, you would go wrong here. We stay in a standard room and probably wasnt the best choice for 2 adl-3 kids, but... more

I stayed in this hotel for a two night break with my boyfriend. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was not lacking. The food and service was excellent. The spa is not as nice as it is portrayed on the website but it is still ok. I had a massage and it was nice enough -... more

Ballyliffin now the wedding capital of Ireland and this being one of its premier hotels for the "Big Day" The downstairs bar and reception have an old world charm about them, lots of wood and art work on display. Warm greeting from the Receptionist but thats were the charm ends. The Room Bedroom was dated and looked like something from... more

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend with my husband and our 2 children and the hotel did not disappoint. We were allocated our first floor room on arrival. It was a corner room with sea views and was suitably spacious for a family of four. The room's decor was tasteful and contemporary and the en suite was well-finished... more

A recently built luxury hotel, set in a beautiful setting with nice views. We spent 2 nights here, one of which was peaceful the other noisy due to a disco which went on to 0130 hours and this was during the week. I would stay at the hotel again, but will check in future for loud noise. Food recommended. more

This hotel struck me as beautiful from the outside as we drove up to it, and inside it did not disappoint! It has a high degree of elegance and class about its reception area and the bar and restaurant, but at the same time it still has a welcoming air about it. This may have also had something to do... more

I visited the hotel a few months ago with my two young children and my husband. I was so impressed by the hotel, the food and the friendliness of the staff that i decided that i would definetly come back and stay there which i did last month with my husband. I have been ranting about the food ever since.... more
