Hotel is based in Portnoo which is beautiful. Hotel owner Frank is very entertaining and very helpful with planning trips out. Food was of a good standard but expensive. more

We booked this hotel at the last minute and therefore didn't expect much when we went in mid July. However were we in for a big surprise. The Lake House Hotel was a little difficult to find. We stopped at the local post office for directions and fortunately, a young woman overheard our questions and asked if we still needed assistance.
