We stayed two nights and found the hotel to be perfectly comfortable. Our rooms on the third floor were very clean, small but adequate. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good. The dinner menu is quite limited but again good. There is a bar menu which seemed to offer quite a choice but we didn't try it. Loved the mirrors,... more

We had a lovely weeekend at The Malin Hotel. We were there for 2 nights and could have quite happily stayed another. The rooms were clean and well furnished and the staff were very friendly. The first night we had dinner in the restaurant which was superb - really good quality steak and a seemingly endless wine list. There is... more

We had 1 night here on our tour of Donegal. The hotel was nice, clean and friendly. We had an evening meal here and it was o.k. The breakfast was very nice though. I would recommend this hotel. more

Our wedding at the Malin Hotel was some what of a fairytale. The staff made everyone welcome and we were well looked after for the entire evening. Having family over from Australia it was important that they were comfortable and got the true "Irish Country Experience" with a definate luxury twist! We would certainly reccommend the Malin Hotel to anyone... more

Despite losing their fantastic manager, John, the hotel still offers super service. Staff are so helpful and friendly. This was our seventh time at the hotel and we really enjoyed a whole week there. Madeleine made us feel very welcome. Room was comfortable and well maintained. food continues to be of a high standard though there does need to be... more

If you want to stay in Malin Head or surrounding area, there aren't many choices for sleeping accomodations. The only other options online that I could find were hostels although there were tons of B&Bs as we drove around the different towns. The manager of the hotel was eager to please and did a bit of everything at the hotel.... more

The Malin Hotel in Co Donegal is a real gem; the perfect retreat from the daily grind of everyday life. Appearances can be deceptive and this is certainly a maxim that can be applied to the Malin Hotel, which from the outside is ultimately uninspiring if not at least exuding an unmistakably Irish charm. However, step inside and the warm... more

Having spent a week in Palma Nova/Spain in a 2 star packaged holiday with queues at the bar and buffet I was in need of some real irish hospitality! First thought that sprung to mind was the Malin Hotel - a lovely boutique style hotel, steeped in irish charm with a touch of class! When we arrived we were greeted... more

This was a very rewarding experience. i had a warm welcome, and the service provided was excellent. The staff were exceedingly helpful and went beyond the call of duty when I had ongoing accommodation problems, booking me an alternative hotel way past 11 pm the night before. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and if/when I am going to Donegal... more
