This is a wonderful guest house which is more like a hotel! The reception area is warm and inviting, the rooms are large and spacious. Our room had two double beds and all the amenities you would find in a hotel room! Sian, the owner of the guest house whom we dealt with, is lovely. Very welcoming and more than... more

Just returned from a trip to Ireland and Donegal was great. Donegal Manor is located a little out of town, so very quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Full breakfast was wonderful and served to order. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great tub and shower. I would recommend them highly and would stay there again.... more

A modern and smartly equipped bed & breakfast that gives the feeling of a hotel. The warm peat fire is a delightful welcome. The rooms are well equipped and spacious with very comfortable beds. Loads of parking and just a shop hop into town. Worth staying here. more

Shawn and her husband have spent their lives making a beautiful quiet corner in the northwest corner of Ireland to welcome weary travelers. She was so kind to us and so engaging. She was genuinely interested in us and how she could make our stay comfortable. These sorts of people give Ireland its special charm., and what a beautiful breakfast.... more

We stayed at Donegal Manor for one night during a drive around Ireland. The proprietors were extremely nice and welcoming. The atmosphere, with the toasty peat fire in the parlor, was wonderful. The breakfast was DELICIOUS, the best we had the entire time in Ireland. Also, they offered an interesting interactive information station that allowed you to look up attractions,... more

Stayed here for one night with friends during our October trip around Ireland. This Manor House just outside of town was delightfully appointed, with a nice sitting area downstairs by the fireplace, and a well apportioned quiet room. The proprietors do a great job of making you feel welcome, and I could not recommend this small quiet guest house with... more

We stayed in a Deluxe Room in this Guesthouse and found it very comfortable. Lots of hot water and clean towels whenever needed. Tea making facilities in room which was great. Breakfast was very nice a cold buffet, fruit juices, cereals, fruit compotes, natural yogurt, dried fruits, breads and following a choice of a cooked breakfast - Irish with toast... more

We've been to Ireland 3 times and this place was the best as far as it being new, great rooms and a great price. When we booked the room she told me 100 euro and after we arrived my husband told me to make sure it wasnt 100 euro per person - that's how nice it was. We got one... more

We were attending a wedding in the nearby Harveys Point Hotel and a party of us stayed for 2 nights at Donegal Manor. We did not check in until almost 3pm in the day and I was very dissapointed that the rooms were not ready. They explained to us they had a large party from the previous evening which were... more

I have to be honest here.......this is the 3rd time we have stayed in this B&B over the last two years. I have written previous reviews on this B&B (more like 5* hotel). And yet everytime I go here I feel compelled to rave about it again. Myself and hubby and 2 little ones (6 and 4 years) stayed there... more
