Traveling with 3 friends on a golf trip...accommodations were exactly what we needed...well appointed, spacious rooms...large bathrooms...hosts were gracious...LOVED the town of Donegal...more good pubs and restaurants than you can shake a stick at...only negative (and this is being picky) is that it's too far to walk to town, or more exactly, too far to walk back after a nite... I stayed while on a business trip in the area. It was a great location for where we needed to be, to get into town it's a short car / taxi ride away. Breakfast was great. The hosts were very good, they couldn't do enough for us, and had a good knowledge of the local area advising on places to... More

Our visit actually happened a couple of years ago but it still sticks out in memory for the special care taken, the warm, friendly atmosphere and the delicious food. It was a wonderful place to stay with children as they were so kindly treated and families know how relaxing and pleasant it is to stay in a child friendly atmosphere,... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend recently and we couldn't have been happier. The Manor is based just on the edge of town and has very nice views of the countryside. The breakfast was very nice, of high quality and there was a wide selection. The owners made us feel very welcome and catered to our every... More

We arrived on a wet Friday afternoon and were greeted with a warm turf fire and lovely homemade chocolate cake. Our room was in the rafters giving us a great view of the countryside. The room was huge, with a kingsize bed, a mini fridge and a very comfortable sofa. The breakfasts on offer was varied and very filling. There... More

Arrived at Donegal Manor and were promptly checked in and given the Red Hugh room. Outstanding! Huge king bed, plenty of room, a mini fridge, a nice comfortable sofa, and a nice sized bathroom. Very clean, neat, and most of all, comfortable room. Had a view of the countryside and grazing sheep. The included breakfast was very good. I had... More

What a fabulous place to stay. The owners are so friendly along with all the staff. It was a pleasure staying there. The breakfast is fantastic and the room was beautiful. It was a nice big room with lots of room. The room was spotless and everything was just perfect. Thank you.

We arrived in Donegal quite late and the information centre, (which was very good), rang around and booked us into this Guest House telling us all they have left was a small room. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner as old friends and made extremely welcome. The "small" room was fine, well kept and clean. Breakfast was... More

Its promoted as the Donegal Manor and cookery school but it only does breakfast! The building is lovely externally but its only a few years old and not 100% finished. I arrived starving on a Sunday night having driven all day and then had to go out to eat , I was not impressed. My room was on the 3rd... More
