I stayed one night with my family, 2 rooms. We used this as a base to explore the southwest of County Donegal including Slieve League. This is a beautiful semi-rural (horses and cattle in the nearby fields) guesthouse not far from Donegal town. It was not hard to find. We were warmly welcomed by Theresa and our rooms were ready... I took my elderly mother and my small dog to Ard na Breatha for a 2 night break (13-15 July 2014). We had such an enjoyable stay. Theresa and staff made us feel so welcome, and nothing was to much for them to do to help us. The food was exceptional and the dining room was full of charm. There... More

My wife and I spent two weeks in Ireland in mid-June. Ard na Breatha was our second night in Ireland. We were greeted upon arrival by Sarah, the house host. The guesthouse and restaurant were impeccably clean and tidy. Our room was spacious and wonderful. Sarah recommended we eat dinner at the Castle Inn in town, and we did. After... More

Stayed here for a night with my wife, nephew, and father-in-law. Beautiful place, clean, excellent large rooms. The staff was extremely friendly, the service excellent at the restaurant. We had dinner and it was excellent (I highly recommend the lamb shank). The public areas are spotless with plenty of comforts. The value can't be beat: such a reasonable price for... More

A very pleasant bed and breakfast - the staff were all first rate. Location nice and quiet with only a short walk to the town - perfect. Good entertainment in town. A nice end to our round tour of Ireland Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you Teresa.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your lovely positive review. We are lucky to be so near town and yet in the heart of the countryside. Taking the path all the way to the town center is just a ten to fifteen minute walk, a lot of our guests use this for an evening stroll, just ask for directions at reception.Delighted... More

We stayed for one night in this guesthouse after having dinner there. Here you will find here the personal attention, missing in almost every hotel. The rooms however are comparable with those in a very good hotel. For dinner you can choose between a three course meal or a la carte. Prices are reasonable and there is a good choice... More

We stayed in some very nice places while in Ireland, but Ard na Breatha tops our list. The accommodations were impeccable, the staff gracious and attentive, and the food was outstanding - the best meal during our two week tour. The care and attention to detail and the comfort of their guests was very evident.

Beautiful guesthouse, immaculate rooms. Cozy and personable, yet aesthetically arranged and professional. A little hard to find, but well worth it. Short walk into Donegal Town. Great breakfast, some of the best coffee I've had in Ireland!

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our cycle tour. Theresa went out of her way to get our bikes inside (she would have appreciated being warned beforehand!) and our accommodation was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. We were made to feel very welcome. As well as the ensuite room with good, free wifi, we had a sitting room... More
