I stayed here for one night with my mother in august 2014, after booking directly at the tourist centre and being told that everywhere was almost booked due to a certain festival. We weren't sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. The room and bathroom were very clean and the wifi was very quick. There was also... More

Just what I need in a B&B, a reasonably priced nights accommodation, with welcoming and helpful hosts and a fine breakfast. Paddy was very helpful and friendly, and was very accommodating of my late arrival and very early breakfast. It's so refreshing to see these guys be so welcoming and helpful without being in your face or overpowering. And the... More

Paddy and Dorothy are great hosts. Good breakfast. Easy walk to the center of town. Quiet and easy to find. Nothing great, just a good, comfortable B&B at a good price. All the rooms looked comfortable. We checked out and left a charger in a room. Paddy tried to track us down in town to get it back to us.... More

Cordial host Paddy showed us to quiet, comfortable rooms with tiny but very clean bathrooms. The TV was functional but tiny and vintage! The B&B is a short pleasant walk from Donegal town center, Donegal Castle, churches, pubs and restaurants. Paddy and Dorothy are golfers who enjoy discussing the game. They let us use their laundry facilities as a courtesy.... More

The B&B was fine, comfortable enough and clean. It did feel a bit cluttered and dated like maybe a B&B from the eighties. The owners were very nice and friendly and breakfast was nice. It's in a good location within walking distance of the town centre.

We arrived in Donegal in the midst of the Food Festival in August. Very road weary and overwhelmed by the heavy traffic, we phoned Haywoods B&B for directions through the congested streets. Paddy told us to stay put and within minutes he arrived to guide us 'home' for the night. Our accommodations were lovely, cozy and comfy. We stayed several nights... More

Stopped by Donegal on a weekend that they were having a festival and opted to stay a little "out of town" to avoid the noise at night. The B&B is just a 10 minutes walk from the center of town. Dorothy and Patty, the hosts, were nice and funny. Something about Patty's eyes reminded me of the song "When Irish... More
