We spent four nights in The central Hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathrom was fair size with everything you require. Staff were always polite when speaking to them. In the centre of Donegal. No noise from main street. Would return to this hotel again..

My girlfriend and I stayed here in July as we were attending a wedding reception in a nearby hotel. We thought this was much better value compared to some other hotels in the area which were very expensive. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, yes although slightly dated but this shouldn't put any one off. The beds were good and... More

I have just read about the barbaric staff, the outlandish idea of having no bottled water presented upon arrival, and the incredibly inedible food at the. Central. Poor creaky bones that can't walk a normal distance down a hallway to get to elevators. GROW UP PEOPLE. REMOVE YOUR HEADS FROM YOUR NETHER REGIONS AND LOOK AROUND YOU. I am 66... More

Stayed here end of July 2014 and was not happy with the lack of air conditioning or even a fan. Central location was great. Parking was free, but a block or so away in a public car park. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Décor pretty tired - did not look at all like the pretty photos on the hotel... More

We got the Eske Suite which is a large room with a huge bathroom, separate tub and shower big enough for two. The room comes with breakfast and you can buy dinner as we'll so it was a good deal for a three course meal. There happened to be a Taste of Donegal going on during our stay. Very convenient... More

Dropped into bar of this hotel for a few drinks and to enjoy live music. Bar was busy but service was awful, the one barman made no effort to welcome or even acknowledge customers, ignored several customers standing waiting service. Two barmaids ignored several customers while attempting reconcile a bill at the till. After 15 minutes of being ignored we... More

We booked a bay view room but found we were located in a room overlooking the street which was quite stuffy and loud with traffic and they moved us quickly and efficiently. Gert is a pleasure to deal with and all the staff are friendly in this hotel. The manager of the bar and staff were equally very helpful and... More

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a David Urquart coach holiday, the hotel is in an ideal location with easy access to shops and bars. The room was large with a double and single bed and was clean, the only down side was a view of other windows but others had a really nice view of the water.... More

Wonderful older style hotel in a great town. Situated on Donegal Bay many rooms have nice water views. It is also located on the town square so everything is just a short walk away. Centrally located in the County you are a short drive from some of the worlds best scenery like Slievgh Leauge Cliffs, Killybegs Harbor and Glenveigh National... More
