My wife and I stayed at The Cove Lodge during our honeymoon trip around the country, and it was a great experience. We were greeted upon arrival by Liam, who proceeded to give us directions and recommendations for some of the local sights and restaurants. The location was very close to town, with a couple of stores in between for... More

We recently spent an enjoyable night at the Cove Lodge B & B, just a short drive from Donegal. Our hosts Liam and Joan provided wonderful hospitality; a clean, modern, spacious and comfortable room, and a beautifully cooked full breakfast the next morning - included in the price of the room. We would recommend the Cove Lodge B & B... More

We spent a weekend in the Cove Lodge and we were deligthed from the beautiful B&b and the amazing panorama. Very close to Donegal city( 5 minutes by car) and not fat from all the local attraction. The owner are an example of kindess. They gave us all the informations to join our destinations ( have to say they were... More

My husband and I stayed at The Cove Lodge B&B for two nights and wish we had stayed longer! We arrived exhausted from a 3 day retreat at Lough Derg and were greeted by the son of Joan and Liam. We found our room to be clean, comfortable and lovely! It was adorned with luxurious bedding that was perfect for... More

Liam gave us directly a lot of informations and adresses to visit (he even gave me hand to change the wheel of my car). The B&B situation is perfect to visit Donegal county; very close to Donegal city, it's... More

Really enjoyed our time here, me and my partner stayed two very relaxing nights. Lovely decorated cosy room and beautiful views on to a river. Breakfast was really nice also. Very close to Donegal town. Took a drive to Killybegs and Slieve league cliffs as recommended by the owners, which had spectacular views - a must see!

This B&B is about 3kms out of town, with plenty of parking. It is on a fairly busy road but there is little road noise in the house. The rooms at this B&B are great - modern, cheerful and bright with a lovely king size bed. We also used the common room, mainly because the internet worked better there. And... More
