Got in late to Donegal and were lucky that they had a room available for us. It's right across from the bridge and beautiful river. Easy, fun, short walk to town for restaurants and shops in cute Donegal. Bernie (owner) was so sweet and fixed us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Was a quick stop over but a delightful... Bernie and Steve McGroary were fantastic. I actually stayed two nights, at the beginning and the end of my bicycle trip and they gave excellent recommendations. My room looked out over the tidal pool, which ebbed and flowed from Donegal Bay and directly behind it was stunning Donegal Castle. I received my bike from Seamus Gallagher (Ireland by Bike) and... I was travelling with my son and we didn't book, so we had a room w/out private bathroom at a very reasonable price. the bathroom was perfectly clean, as well as all the b&b. My son loves Irish breakfast and enjoyed very much the dish, while I liked the freshly baked scones. And... Bernie has been so kind and helpful... More

Excellent place to stay in, lovely hosts, spotless room and very tasty food. Beautiful and quiet area and a nice pub with live music just around the corner, great experience! We will definitely come back next year.

Stayed in quite a few B&B's last month as we travelled the Causeway Coastal Route and Wild Atlantic way from Belfast to Achill. This B&B definitely stood out, mainly because the hosts, Bernie and Steve were just so friendly and helpful. We arrived without reservation, and got a room without a private en-suite but with a bathroom and another separate... More

Stayed whilist on a road trip with my daughter, within easy walk of the town centre however in quite location next to the river. Bernie & Steve very welcoming and knowledgable of local area, immaculate rooms and excellent cooked breakfast, with real value for money, would fully recommend.

We stayed here last July for one night, very close to town but still very tranquil, lovely homemade breakfast and comfy bed! Host was friendly and informative , no t.v in our room was not a big deal for a short stay however for a longer visit it might have been nice, would return in an instant.

I really love this place. Bernie is really helpfully! She give nice advise about everything you need to know. The bed is comfortable as well, the view is beautiful and the location can't be better. I had no problem to found parking. The Bridges is my best experience of B&B in 2 weeks of backpaking in Ireland.

It was in April when I stayed at the B&B and I found it very adequate. The owners were very nice and informative on things to see and do. They helped quite a bit with the parking to make sure I didnt get a ticket. If I were ever to go back to Donegal Town I would certainly check to... More

Taking care of a group of tired wet cyclist is not alway easy, but Bernie did an excellent job. We felt very welcomed into this family home, with the added bonus of having wet clothing washed and dried, and bikes being safely stored away. The house is close to the centre, but just far enough away to avoid all the... More
