We stayed at Country Lane B&B unexpectedly, due to a scheduling mix-up at the B&B where we planned to stay. Maureen was very gracious and allowed us to drop off our luggage around 11:00 a.m. Our room was nice and had a beautiful view of a lake. The family was helpful in giving us directions and suggestions for our day. However, the breakfast was somewhat meager (both in amount and taste). Still, I might have enjoyed our stay more if I hadn’t felt as though I was imposing on the family by staying with them. The family lives on the main level of the home, and that caused at least one awkward moment when we left early in the morning, before everyone in the family was dressed for the day. That was the most awkward moment, but I had an unsettled feeling during our entire stay and was glad to be leaving after only one night. more
