Best breakfast I had during my whole 2 weeks in Ireland. My room was like a bedroom and the bathroom for the floor I stayed on was sparkling clean! The room was incredibly comfortable and offered a great view of the city. I would reccomed this B+B to anyone and everyone who reads this review. Wish I'd had a reason... more

great location, near the train and bus stations, a short walk to the city centre, genial and helpful host who prepares a wonderful morning meal, and presents a pristine clean house. there are many b & b's around but this one is just right!! more

Jerry Spillane runs a great b&b in Cork City. He is a very friendly host and offers great suggestions on day trips around Cork. The rooms are simple and clean with everything you need. The breakfasts were delicious. We would recommend the Number Forty Eight as a place to stay in Cork City. more
