After reading some of the reviews for Trabolgan, I was very pessimistic before we went. We had previously stayed in Center Parcs in France and our kids had loved the range of activities there. As Trabolgan is the only thing in Ireland that even vaguely resembles Center Parcs we decided to give it a go. Our accommodation, the Sycamore, was... more

The staff are just plain RUDE! Especially in the restaurant. They should be damn glad to have a job but instead they just look down on and intimidate customers. The pool attendants weren't much better and the staff in the shops, (especially at the pool area), were very unhelpful and rude. We only went for a day trip so I... more

We recently stayed at Trabolgan with our 3 year old daughter. I have to say she didn't stop smiling the whole time we were there. From Angleina Balerina, to Barney and Bob the Builder she had a ball. There is a fantastic pool there with a wave machine, and entry to this was free. There were lots of activities organised... more

Myself, my husband and 3 children had a weekend stay in trabolgan in August 2008. It is the best weekend away we've had. There was lots for the children to do and the entertainment was excellent. We definitely be returning in 2009 more

Spent a week there with my young family. Great value for money, plenty for everyone to do and the kids loved the entertainments especially Barney! more
